The Godfather, and it's not even close. With all due respect to The Godfather: Part II and Goodfellas, of course, which I'd rank #2 and 3. Although, I don't like the second half of Goodfellas after
Henry gets addicted and shit
. Feels like an entirely different movie.

Also, I want to take this opportunity to represent Donnie Brasco. A great movie that I feel is unfortunately underrated.

I removed Scarface, because if you think about it, it's about Tony Montana and his ventures as a criminal, going from a cuban refugee to building an empire, etc. It's technically not really a 'mafia' movie, it's more of a 'gangster' movie.

Goodfellas is the only one I can watch any time it's on. The movie is a goddamn masterpiece. Maybe the best of all time regardless of genre.

I really feel threads like this should stipulate "other than Godfather 1-2 and Goodfellas" because otherwise it becomes post after post with just those movies (which is exactly what has happened here) - for obvious reasons, and rightfully so, because they're so head and shoulders above everything else.

I'll throw A Bronx Tale into the hat as a worthy contender.

Ooooh dammit there is so many, ok I would say my upmost favourite is Goodfellas, followed by The Godfather part 2. Fuck it I'll throw the legendary Scarface in there too, so so good.

Goodfellas is a really good hamburger. I love a really good hamburger. Its easy to get and its always tasty. Godfather is Thanksgiving dinner. Takes longer to prepare and not as often served but the meal is far more enjoyable. Departed is also a good burger.

I think Godfather & its sequel are probably better movies but I prefer Goodfellas and Untouchables.

Underated: Donnie Brasco, Layer Cake, Infernal Affairs.

sequel top my list. I love The Public Enemy and Little Caesar too. I'll take the opportunity to recommend La Scorta, a great film about the bodyguards of anti-mafia magistrates in Sicily.
