The Godfather.

The Godfather could be argued as being the greatest film ever made, Goodfellas is nowhere in that conversation. It's not even Scorsese's best either.

Also -1 for any Scarface votes. 1) Not a mafia movie. 2) It's not a very good movie, it's just got a lot of iconic scenes so people have idolized those scenes and made it seem better than it is.

Such a dumb movie and I loved it. I laughed like an idiot when I first saw this movie. I bet if I threw it in and watched it again, I would still laugh a lot. Fun movie. Ironically it probably is my favorite mafia movie since I'm not hugely into mafia films.

The Godfather part II slighty ahead of part I, then Goodfellas. I mean, Goodfellas is 'funnier' and easier to rewatch in that sense, but Godfather is far more memorable and iconic for me.

Also Goodfellas is so damn entertaining. The moment when the heat comes down on him is great. Ray Liotta is prolly coked out during filming of that because it was pretty convincing.
