Shoutout to Bronx Tale, very underrated - but not as good as the Godfather 1 & 2 or the Goodfellas.

Godfather 2 takes it for me but it's close.

Only one other mention of election? For shame y'all. Unless everyone is just sticking with Italian here

Also Goodfellas is so damn entertaining. The moment when the heat comes down on him is great. Ray Liotta is prolly coked out during filming of that because it was pretty convincing.

Nah the best triad movie is the Young and Dangerous series.

Oh god is this real?

Personally I've enjoyed more Infernal Affairs being a trilogy and while I admit The Departed is one great movie and I love it too, after all it's just an adoptation of Infernal Affairs squeezed in 150 minutes play.

For such a consistently fascinating topic and area of real life, it's a shame there's only an obvious handful of all-time greats at the top, overshadowing pretty much any mafia movies ever.

My favorite is still "The Godfather Part I" followed by the second and then a split between "Casino" and "Goodfellas". But I still value "The Sopranos" over all the mafia movies I've ever seen <3

Goodfellas isn't even Scorcese's best picture, let alone the best mafia film.

Over-reliance on voice-over narration and Scorcese's compulsion to force a pop song into nigh every fucking scene kill that movie for me. And I used to love it.

It's Godfather. Either pt. l or ll, doesn't matter.
