Not a chance on NM. I have to be at least twice as strong as I am now before I consider it based on my attempt.
And for the 30 AP. Too dangerous to waste AP on. If he ever uses fire type party attack it would be a wipe.
Everyone says to buy the Soul Berries so I've just been storing them but no one says when to use it? Been trying to stay net positive on Half Elixirs as well. Currently at 615 Halves and 1150 berries (also have 30 fulls and soul balms).
The biggest slowdown right now still seems to be rupies. If there isn't an event that gives me 50-100k I have to stop rupies pulls until the login bonus resets. Haven't 4* uncapped any of my SSRs yet. (Current down to 15k)
-Should I be selling my SR summons?
-I do join random co-ops to collect medals but so far this seems to be too slow to be a good use of time.

Use the berries in half bp events like right now, keep some (may be 500?) and spend the rest as fast you can during this event. Events where joining raids is cheaper are called unofficially "magnafest".
Exchange silver/gold moons, purchase the moons with pendants each month. The amount of time required to grind the equivalent of a gold moon (1 million rupies) is ridiculous.
If you have time, magnafest is the best time to leech. It is around 33% more efficient compared to normal times.
Usually for HL player, they use berries and elixir during Guild War because it is very competitive and you want to work together as 1 crew. But you probably didn't reach that far yet.
SR Carbuncle : Save
SR Summon from gacha (Except Carbuncle) : Reduce
SR Summon from magna : Sell. It is basically a fodder, not worth it to reduce for new player.
The best way to make progress is sadly by leeching and hosting your own magna and hope to get a good drop.
Got it. Pretty sure I will be able to FLB one of them, not sure if I'll have the time to grind out enough materials to do the second. Was hoping I could just buy an extra Light Katana and make this easier!

That'll tell you what you need to get.
Since you haven't done co-op at all, you need to unlock the EX fights and start farming them. Decide on the weapon and element you want ahead of time so you can focus on farming the mats. The two most common class weapons are Oliver and Nirvana. Oliver because gun weapons pieces are easy to get from the casino gun there and Nirvana for cheesing fights as a sage but also because staff weapon pieces aren't in as high demand as other weapon types. Just start knocking each part down one by one and be sure to hit up the corresponding elemental showdown as the rotate to get the animas from there.
Now, the 'hardest' part of the grind are a few areas but I want to note that the class weapon grind has been eased so much over the last year the things I'll be listing are really not that bad and one of the last tough parts, the weapon stone requirement, is getting reduced for your first class weapon soon. When I say 'hard' it's more just how much time you'll have to invest waiting for drops.
First off, silver centrums. These can be gotten from gotten from leeching a lot of grand order for feather/horns to turn in once a month for a silver(Time consuming), hosting Grand Order (Comes in the host red chest/easiest way), Rose queen and a few other places. As I noted, hosting GO is the best and easiest way to go about this. I'm not sure if share chests still require a crew member to be in your raid to unlock after the fight but even so, the centrum can also drop in there. Don't confuse silver centrum for the other elemental centrums from HL magna fights, since those will always drop from them. It's by far one of the easiest items to grind. Next are class distinctions, which you can buy for HL renown called prestige. They're 20 per, as long as you do your HL fights and collect full honors from it, you'll finish the element centrum and distinctions in one go but won't worry if you don't, they're so easy nowadays you'll be running them a few millions more times anyway so this will finish by itself. After that, since you don't likely have a stockpile of sky blue crystals, is to so your coop dailies for one a day along with leeching Grand Order fights for them. GO fights can also drop the animas required to host her so you can get a lot done by jumping into as many GO fights as you can for Sky blue, animas and horns/feathers.
Creeds aren't 'hard' to get, they're just a little rare but the EX stage lost in the dark is so easy with a fully buffed room and in an hour you'll likely get 1/4 to 1/2 of the creeds you need. Of course, that all depends on your love for RNGesus and his love back. Continuing on, hit up those showdowns as they come around for their Anima. If you're up to the task, the maniac fights can also drop the items gotten from the Co-op version but don't worry if you can't, the co-op versions are way easier if you have a weaker grid. And last is the ancient cloths. If you've gotten a GW character, you know where to get these. If not, they're from ch 34/71 Antiquarian Troubles and it can be done twice a day. Be sure to hit that place up on 1/2 off.
That's all I can think of at this time and I'm sure the others here will give better input on some of the other aspects I mentioned or didn't.

Silver Centrums are vastly easier to get just by doing Ultimate Bahamut Raids. Got 10 this week from them since they are gold chest drops.

Picked up Anne yesterday from the free draw.
Man would she be killer in any other element than water. It seems like as it is, water is oversaturated with hyper strong defense characters. Yngwie, Romeo, Charlotte, Lily, Uno, etc.

Finally beginning my T4 Journey.
Completed a Langeliek Aqua. Looking forward to them updating that. Unlocked Elysian, Chaos Ruler, and Dancer recently, so I'll finish those and then probably get Apsaras and Sage. Need to improve the water grid a bit more to really support overpowering granny.

I hate the grid, the summons and most of the characters (Gawain is ok). I did get Zephyrus, but not in time to put anything cool together.
At least I get brown quartz!

I've only been casual this event so I don't have many of the items... should I just prioritize the dark katana and maybe the light katana?

Dammit I could actually use the light katana but I bought the water first expecting that I would get at least a couple light katana flips while I grinded out the FLB materials. Nope. Zero. So now I have to decide whether I should spend the mats I gathered on the FLB for the water katana for a marginal at best improvement over my FLB pinya dagger, or to buy light katanas, ignore the FLB since I won't be able to afford it, and get a marginal at best improvement over whatever my current MLB EX light weapon is... which is a harp? I don't even remember what event that was.

I thought the same and ended up having to buy enough light katanas for FLB. Then I got 3 light katana drops in a day......

Stuff like this always makes me happy I got lucky. Sadly, too lucky. I ended up getting 8 as drops before finishing my grind for FLB mats. I'll fodder the rest, since I stopped caring to farm a while back.

So going after this I finally understood the purpose of Raid Finder. Up until now I was just randomly doing whichever Omega raid showed up on the list. Just focusing on Tiamat and having a party slot just with Hawkeye. Ended up with 1 Bolt, 4 Glaves, and 3 Amood. Used an extra to bring a bolt to skl 7. Now I'm just holding onto 4 copies of each and not sure if I should just use them all as fodder. (**EDIT** Forgot to mention that I only ended up using ~300 berries. Even that seems to be a bit much.)
-Should I bring the glaves to lvl 100 just to have a spear option? There is still the SR Axe that has *Might* skl.
Next big holdup on the list seems to be CP. Mastered all Row I; Row II minus Cleric and Bard; Row III missing Holy, Bishop, Hermit, Ogre, Superstar, and Valkyrie.
-Anything specific I should be aiming for?
Finally got to a pretty good setup to do the 30AP event quest. I have to reset until I find "Rose Queen" SSR which has a defensive buff and revitalize. More annoying but at least I could grind out most of the items. Will have both SSR katanas but don't think I have it in me to speed like 100 half exilirs to get the sakura and additional medals to FLB one.

Umm, there isn't a support summon for the sidequest.
You get a pre-set party of 3 Danshi and repeat the same fight pattern (slam Fire skills into boss, slam Earth skills upon ele-change to water, slam Light skills after the change to Dark, shield when the danshi warn you to).
It takes about a minute and drops 1-2 Sakura Shower.

I wasn't referring to that fight. At the end of the event I had 0 Medallion and needed another 200 to MLB a katana which meant 20+ Extreme runs aiming for a very specific summon. And then if I had had the medallions, another 20 runs to gather the sakuras. Too much grind...

Just hit colo and hope for ssr katanas, its not hard or time consuming.

Have you done the Balmy Breeze side story yet? There are 3 SSR Katanas to reduce in the shop, so enough for one FLB I believe.

Anyone with a semi-formed (25k+) wind grid need a spot on a crew for GW? We had a last minute ditch for RL reasons and are at 29/30.
