Looks like Forza Horizon 1 is coming to backwards compatibility sometime between today and September 1st.

I know which racing game I'll be playing before FH3 hits. Need to get these Forza points going.
Edit: I paid ~5€ for FH1. Haven't touched it, because I thought it would become bc :/

Great month for Games with Gold. I own all those except for Earthlock. I now think we had to wait for them to add wheel support for X360 titles before we got Forza Horizon. I hope they can re-up the license for the PGR games and get us those.

Is there a communication link with someone on the X360 BC dev team ? As in someone who posts on GAF?
I would like to know what will happen when Project Scorpio arrives.
It should be enough to prehaps provide some futher enhancements like better AA and AF on the X360 games.... is that possible?

It's very likely that some games will receive performance boosts in the framerate department just like RDR (unless it breaks the game in some way), but I seriously doubt we would get any resolution bump or extra graphical effects. Its possible there could be AA added on top but it would likely be one of the "smear Vaseline on the screen" varieties so probably not welcome. Anything further would require tinkering with the game code which is beyond the scope of BC and moving into re-release territory.
I want PGR3 more than PGR4 but either would be amazing

Yeah, I really doubt those games will appear in BC, and I think there are other priorities when the Master Chief Collection is around and going for budget prices.
I am all for MGS HD-Rising, Orange Box, PGR 4 and Max Payne 3.

I know that it'll be BC, but since it's popping up in the US store I'm assuming it'll be BC at some point this week (probably tomorrow).
Hell yeah! Now I need Forza 4 to get backwards compatibility treatment and I'm set. It's a two disc game though so that could be a while.

While I'm excited that FH is finally coming I am also annoyed that I bought it last time it was on sale. Though since the prices seem to go up once a game hits BC maybe its worth the risk

Supposedly MS can't work on it until it's available in the west so I wouldn't expect it to be BC anytime soon
BF:BC2 would be amazing. Also, after CoD2, I'd love to get BF1943 as BC.

I spent three minutes looking for a clever gif to summarize my disappointment, frustration, and increasing-ambivalence about the lack of backward compatibility title releases this summer....and then I just got bored & stopped looking.
But we did get news last week - at Gamescom. The Mass Effect Trilogy is now "likely" to be remastered due to consumers' growing appetite for beautified old games. So, like every other company, EA will "likely" give the middle finger to backward compatibility.
I am sorry but I the frame rate on x360 and PS3 was atrocious

Multiple times for less than $10 US. I got it when it was on sale earlier this year and the season pass. Hopefully when it hits Games with Gold next week they put the season pass back on sale.
Isn't this delisted? I mean, I still have it. Can't remember how. Maybe it came free with something? IDK.
It'll be free next month with Xbox Live Gold.

I thought those Williams games were delisted when Midway closed. You might have got it free with that Madcatz retro joystick like I did.
I just checked when installing Joust and I don't think it's up until the GWG offer hits.

Do people still play Battlefield 1943? Also, why hasn't Shadow run been added to BC? Doesn't Microsoft own the franchise and only licenses it out?
