NetherRealm Studios community specialist Tyler Lansdown has confirmed that Mortal Kombat Xs upcoming Kombat Pack 2 will not be heading to PC.

Suspicions were raised about the future of Mortal Komat X on PC when the ongoing netcode beta was limited to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and this seems to be the final nail in the coffin for a version that has been plagued with issues since launch.

This console restriction naturally applies to Mortal Kombat XL, the game of the year edition that collects all of the titles downloadable content into one package, as well.

I'd heard the PC version was a shit show but it must be really bad to not even get the new DLC :/
Apparently this also means the new GOPP net ode isn't coming to PC either

PS: Steamspy puts MKX at roughly 500k units on PC

Edit: Honestly, I'm kind of hoping this gets to a point where if people want a refund they can get one. What a terrible way to treat your community and fan base. I too feel like I'm completely done with WB Games. I can't support stuff like this.

Same thing happened with the final two DLC characters for the Wii U version of Injustice.

Released the first four characters and all costume packs.

Only way they can make it up is if they have a new comapny do a complete port of the entire XL package with the new netcode. Then offer a steep discount to owners of the original version.

That is a way bigger deal then the characters IMO.

Wow Warner are real pieces of shit when it comes to their PC customers, so the netcode fixes aren't coming to PC as well?

I regret getting MKX and giving them money and add the fact that I haven't even touched Arkham Knight because of the issues it has when it was one of my most anticipated titles of last year and Warner is starting get Konami levels of shit.

It was actually MKX bullshit first, then Arkham Knight's bullshit. Both games have had issues due to a combination of being outsourced on PC to a different developer and being poorly managed with poor QA along the way.

Why anyone would have faith enough in WB to pre-order any of their PC games is beyond me at this point. Now, ending support for a product so soon is terrible especially when this is only the case for one platform.
