Here’s an overview on what you should expect in the Private Multiplayer Beta:

Maps – At least three Multiplayer maps, including: Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar.
War – Operation Breakout
Modes – Fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint.
Divisions – Enlist in the Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, or Mountain Division. You are not limited to any one Division, and we encourage you to try them all!
Progression – Players will begin at Soldier Rank 1 and rank up through a limited progression to unlock weapons, scorestreaks, equipment, and Basic Training Skills.

Here’s what you should not expect in the Private Multiplayer Beta:

Headquarters – We’re testing the match-making of this all-new social experience, but access to this space will not be active during the Multiplayer Beta.
Supply Drops, and Loot – These customization features that add depth and personality to your soldier will not be included in the Multiplayer Beta.
eSports – Ranked Play, Game Battles, and our suite of competitive features will be accessible when we release in November.
Additional content not in the Private Multiplayer Beta includes: full progression, remaining maps and modes, additional War Mode maps, and the full armory of weapons, scorestreaks, Basic Training, and equipment.

Gibraltar? I know Hitler had plans to conquer Gibraltar so the Spaniards could join on his side, but nothing was established... Can somebody tell me what I am missing?

I take there isn't any PC beta? If not, then I have little hope for the PC port being decent. Then again, I shouldn't get my hopes up at all.

Much bigger fan of the early August beta rather than Infinite Warfares October beta. Treyarch changed a lot with the Black Ops 3 Beta in August to release.

Cool! Looking forward to this!

Funny thing about this game is that I will be technically seeing it for the first time when I actually play it! It's crazy since that is a thing that really never happens anymore with games (for me at least)!

I'm a sucker for WW2 shooters and I loved COD 1 and 2 so I'm cautiously excited. I sort of like the idea of the Headquarters stuff, but I don't know how much I want to kick it with COD players...

Does anyone know when will we get the beta codes to download the game?

Also, are we able to preload beforehand? Not sure how it has been in the past.

This is most likely to be turned into an open beta for the last day or so right? Am I correct in thinking this has happened a few times for multiplayer betas?

Yeah next week is the Xbox and PS4 beta so I'm going to guess it'll open up pretty fast then.

It seems my account is completely borked on callofduty.com. I redeemed an Amazon code and linked my PSN account but the site keeps asking me to create a community handle and password. It redirects to an error page every time I hit submit, and if I try accessing my profile/account to make any needed changes it takes me right back to the registration page for the community stuff. And then the error page. Again.

It does say I successfully redeemed a code, but where are they sending it to? Will the beta just appear in my downloads list?

They will send you a code to the email associated with the site account.

Apparently they go out tomorrow.
If it says successfully redeemed i wouldn't worry. If you're not getting one, activision support on their site is pretty great.

Do they take immediate payment on amazon UK or can you order then cancel before it's release? I never cancelled an order on there before so not sure how it works

Not terribly hyped, but I'll try the beta. Early MP footage reminded me of CoD4, and MWR let me figure out that I really don't like CoD4 MP.

Reupped my plus for this, oops. I got some discounts so it's whatever.

Stoked for a new duty this weekend. The Gameinformer footage looked fast enough for me, was a bit worried it would get too methodical. I'm sure others feel differently.

Haven't quite completely fallen off the COD train yet, and very excited for the return to WWII setting. I'm hoping it keeps the multiplayer's basic modes like Team Deathmatch feeling relatively "grounded" in terms of killstreaks and whatnot.

Pretty sure I redeemed my pre-order code a while back and just need to wait for IW to send a download code my way as the weekend approaches.

Not at all expecting anywhere near GOTY quality out of this game given what a fine year I've personally had in games (as well as break-out FPS games like Doom, Overwatch, and Titanfall 2 kind of blowing away my expectations for the genre last year), but I do welcome what I hope is a return-to-roots COD with contemporary production value and some fresh map layouts.

Was i supposed to be emailed my code yet from activision?

Because I haven't been. I wanna predownload it on psn

I haven't received my code yet, either. I think generally these closed beta type affairs offer their preloads about a day in advance of things going live.
