This is going to sound harsh, but bear with me. You need to be yelled at a little.
Get the fuck over her. Pining for a woman gets you nowhere, and for the moment, she is unattainable. Although I can't tell from two sentences, you never made a move, and that's your own damn fault. You can't expect things to just fall into your lap or passively ride the current and hope to run across a boat. You need to take the reigns and MAN UP.
Don't be whiny. Don't second guess yourself. What you did and didn't do is in the past. What you can do now is to learn from what you did wrong so that next time, you will be able to work with it and, at least, grow a damn pair of balls and ask her out before she finds someone else.
