You may remember that a little while ago, Respawn hired Iain McCaig as their character designer.

Today, Respawn has revealed another high profile Hollywood hire, picking up Matt Codd as their art director.

For those curious about who Matt Codd is, here's a sample of his work and his resume. I'd normally extract more images, but I'm having some issues fishing them out of the pages efficiently.

A notable section of their art department actually seems to be from the God of War 3 team.

Not sure what happened at SSM, but I felt it was an interesting note.

I want a videogame that looks like one of his concept art sketches and preferrably not a military shooter. First person is fine, just don't make another game to compete in that call of duty lane. This is coming from someone who actually enjoys that genre.
