Ah, nice one. That character editor looks pretty sweet.

Last one...

I used to play a lot of Arcticfox on my Amiga. Oh, Arcticfox...back when EA published only the finest in sci-fi tank simulators.

Then there's Slam City with Scottie Pippen. "Boy, I'm gonna drink you like milk. Play ball!"

I didn't really play much of it.
I tried out the very beginning and I remember it dropping you into a room with monsters falling from the ceiling and I guess you need to get out of there.

The first one was hard enough for me. Christ, you could kill yourself just walking into walls.

Haha oh yeah the head-bashing.
I seem to remember doors/gates didn't open instantly and you could bash your heads on those if you tried to go through while they were still in the process of opening, unless I'm thinking of some other game. I think you could damage enemies by closing gates on them also.

Browsed the pages so hopefully I didn't miss anyone posting these. Dunno how applicable they end up being but I've never really sen mention of them.

Outwars. All I can really remember of this game is jetpacking around and tossing explosives, but it made enough of an impression that I remember it 15 years later.

In a similar vein to the Graal mention, Odyssey Online Classic was a free MMO game that I used to plug loads of time in at a well designed private server that I'd play during Quake breaks.

Requiem: Avenging Angel. An FPS from the late '90s. You were an FPS man who was actually an angel. Notable feature was having the power to turn enemies into piles of salt.

Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol. Had a great main theme.

Viper Racing. A game where you could only race with and against Dodge Vipers, which was alright for me because it was the only car I cared about as a kid. Probably limited to just the one due to being able to do car damage. The game had a weird control feature to nudge the car, presumably to flip it back upright should you tip over, but you could pretty much do it indefinitely to start flying or continue damaging your car long after you could no longer drive it; the ridiculous end result being able to compact your car into a single tire.

Rollcage. Okay, so this isn't really applicable but people don't mention it enough that it might as well be! RIP Psygnosis, RIP Studio Liverpool.

Nuclear War has some hilarious leader names, the game itself is fun also.

I was going to post this, but I assumed it has been played some people here on GAF. Having said that, I wan´t a sequel or a remake, so I can play this again.

Oh alright. One more springs to mind...
I want a sequel to Heimdal as well. So good back in the days.

Since this thread seems to be a mix of classic games people have played before and odd games not many(or anyone) have played before, I´ll like to throw in:

Mega Lo Mania - A great fun strategy game where 2001(game was from 1991) was the future :)

I got the Atari ST version.
I was at some kind of computer convention or Atari convention or something, can't remember what it was now, and had just a little spending money. Came down to choosing between ArcticFox and Mercs (which someone else in the thread mentioned for another system) and settled on buying ArcticFox. Never did play Mercs.

No problem. Didn't play it myself.

Ergonomically terrific!

That was a sound tactic, just mashing those door buttons! Heheheh!

My goodness, I'd almost forgotten about Sim Ant. Back when it was in my possession, I was too young to fully understand it, but it was a neat, bizarre game. Need more like it.

My only issue with it was the spiders... ew.

Not only did I play it I still have the box...

Here's another two

I played this ages ago, when I was rather young. I couldn't say whether it was any good, but young me had a lot of fun with it.

SuperKarts.

I played the hell out of Robot Arena. Actually, I found a great glitch. In your third pic there are spikes on the front of your bot. If you use those and wedge an opposing bot against a wall and just hold forward, it'll rack up tons of damage instantly and destroy the bot within seconds. Guaranteed win every time.

Was the first of many games I got with the GBC when I was like 8 or 9. I remember being a pretty decent shooter at the time. If I went back to it now it'll probably play like a hunk of shit but....I ate this up at the time.

I've played the multiplayer in the PC version of that so many times with my friends and my cousin. Great times.
This one was great too, although I've played the demo too much and didn't complete the full version because I got bored.

Probably I am wrong, or at least I hope so. Really nice fusion of RTS and puzzle games.
Played the demo of this, was fun, but my parents didn't want to buy me the full version, lol.
I thought this would be rare too, but it can't be all that rare if it has a Wikipedia entry and an HD remaster.

This was one of the first games I've ever played, back in the 386 days.
I've played all of Apogee's games.
I've played the shareware version of most of them, including Halloween Harry.

All really well made games. The Tiny Toons game even has a mini game version that is essentially G&W clones with Tiny Toons characters.

I recommend Tiny Toons Acme All-Stars, it's actually one of my favorite classic sports games. Konami at their best.

The game that turned me into a fan of the Flying Dragon series.

SCHWING! lol great times.

Speaking of Flying Dragon, they had a pretty dope fighting game on N64. I even liked it more than Fighter's Destiny.

Not sure if other people have played this....it's pretty hard.
Bought it for the PC and had a blast with it. Never cleared the moon (?) level though.

Known also as "Total Mania". Loved it as a kid, because it had robots in it, but the review scores were terrible.

I don't know why I bought these..

Friend borrowed me BC, but the controls were so terrible, that I've stopped playing after a few hours of not being able to do anything.

Remembered one more:

Cold Shadow - Donald Duck in Maui Mallard. This game was so great, especially character designs. Sadly, I never beat the scrolling level where you had to protect some jar. I still remember the password to it, lol.
