No nomination for Tatiana Maslany.

No Person Of Interest nominations.

Emmy gonna Emmy.

I'll root for Luther and Sherlock this year.

Very happy to see Lena Headey replace Emilia Clarke for a nomination. She's been deserving for a while. Disappointed that B99 got snubbed so bad. It's such a great comedy.

So glad that Breaking Bad is over so that it will no longer get misplaced Emmy nominations and wins. One more year of this crap though... *sigh*

Orange Is The New Black is so misplaced in the comedy category.

I get that it has a better shot there and that's why they submitted it as a comedy, but still.

Still, glad to see it nominated. It's amazing.

Starting my Cuberbatch for Emmy campaign now. Sherlock deserved more nominations IMO.

I guess being a BBC show that kind of changes things?

You're right that it wouldn't have a shot elsewise... it's a shame that some of the actresses will only get nominated in the Comedy category as well. :(

Drama series is way more competitive. Plus it would have to compete against House of Cards which is also produced by Netflix.

I love how True Detective is a drama and Fargo and AHS are miniseries when they're essentially the exact same format.

The TV Academy needs to better define these categories and force the networks to submit their shows in the proper categories.

Or if the anthology format really takes off, maybe they should just make it a standalone category someday.

It's more dark comedy than anything else though. It fits there better than anywhere else.

That is a motherfucker of a lineup. They all deserve to win.

What? Breaking Bad is definitely not misplaced. Far from it actually.
Could they not get TD in the mini series category? Nobody is beating Breaking Bad this year.
The directors/producers/whoever had the choice of either nominating it as a Miniseries or Drama, and they decided to put it in the Drama category.

No hannibal when its season 2 was 1000x better than the horrendous house of cards season 2. Also I don't mind if breaking bad loses best drama but Cranston better not get snubbed again even if he has won it a gazillion times

See my previous post.

Flavor of the year? It didn't even come close to the amount of hype Breaking Bad got in it's last few episodes.

For a first season of a show it had an insane amount of hype. Breaking Bad had a series finale, TD had a first season. The hype isn't comparable.
