Several new releases make their debuts this week but it's Activision Blizzard’s ‘Destiny’ (-78%) that comfortably holds on to top spot for a second week.

The Bungie developed title also continues to give a strong boost to PS4 hardware sales with over 72% of the hardware format being the Destiny hard bundle. It means that ‘Disney Infinity 2.0’ has to settle for No2 in its first week although it's one place higher than the debut of its predecessor. The new Interactive Toys title is also 32% up on the week 1 performance of the original ‘Disney Infinity', which arrived just over a year ago. Wii U exclusive ‘Hyrule Warriors’ developed by Omega Force also arrives at No3.

Familiar face ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ (+12%) holds its position at No6 while ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (-17%) drops from No4 to No7. ‘Minecraft: PS3 Edition’ (+7%) sees a slight boost in sales that pushes it up a place to No8. ‘The Last of US: Remastered’ (-27%) and ‘Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ (-16%) both slip down the chart to No9 and No10. Hyrule Warriors did better than I expected.

What's the price for PS4 Destiny's bundle? Just seen on Amazon.co.uk it's 329.99...it's cheaper than the normal PS4 price alone O_O

I know it should be at 349.99 for a limited time, but is 329.99 spread across multiple retailers or is it just Amazon?

What were you expecting? Isn't that position like between 10k-20k?

That is the first time I've seen a PS3 version of something chart above its PS4 version in a while (Disney Infinity 2.0, makes sense as a lot of the audience has not moved on).

As for Hyrule Warriors, wilst thou sink or swim next week*? I'm worried it is going to be the usual Wii U 10k week 1 and sink that well most things since Pikmin 3 did.

Personally with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call I wonder if people who said "I'll get the eShop version as it is a good game to play without cart swapping" put their money where their mouth is...

My thoughts exactly. I think this is a solid enough launch for a Musou game on a Nintendo console, and for a Zelda spin-off, but nothing chalkboard-worthy (not that I expected otherwise).

Probably the best selling "Warriors" game in the UK in a while, even by those numbers.

Can see it falling off a cliff next week though. Once the Zelda fans have it now, that will be it.

Hyrule Warriors has a shot at being the most successful "Musou" title the West has seen in a very long time... maybe ever? I'm not sure if those games were ever more successful than they are these days, so I could be overshooting with my guesswork there. Still, glad it's doing good.

Its actually a much bigger drop when 72% of sales are due to the Bundle. That White PS4 is no joke, if I didnt already own one, id buy it no matter the bundled game.

No way would it be that low. ~70-80% is the norm for big titles. Very front loaded.

I'm sure that means that 72% of all PS4 hardware is the Destiny Bundle. And the White one is limited to GAME so won't be selling that much. A Black Destiny SKU is available wide.

I wonder what the break-even point for Destiny is, and can it reach it with this drop. I know some analysts were talking about 15 million copies to break even, but I doubt that is true.

It will be interesting to see how FIFA will perform on PS3. Is the console really done selling like all the multi releases up to now suggesting or does it still have some juice left in the tank?

Expected bigger drop for Destiny considering the record sales. Hope Hyrule can stick around!

I was expecting somewhere between w101 and worse than Zelda WW HD.

Based on that I consider it a decent performance. The test now will be if it's out of the top next week. The impressions on the game have been quite good around the internet (inclusively here), but I don't know if that's enough to keep the sales going.

78% is well in line with all major releases second week drop.

I'm interested to see that Disney Infinity sold more on PS4 than XBO. To me it shows that the PS4 is now getting a broader casual appeal.

However, the 360 Destiny figures look good compared to PS3.

Damn, Plants vs Zombies seems like it was a major bomb on PS3/PS4.

Such a shame.

Diablo 3 is plummeting out the chart as well.

PS3s' down fall continues, I bet the Fifa version will be low as well.

Wow! Destiny was really a right call for PS4. Even Xbone had deals with MCC and Destiny just over 300£ and still outsold by PS4.

The PS3 has never been big in the UK. So it won't be interesting or shocking when it's version of FIFA sells the least.

Destiny platform splits (last generation versions are missing) are courtesy of Metro UK. I was hoping they would also give them for Disney Infinity 2.0.

That's an extremely common range for a 2nd week drop for that kind of title.
CoD, TF, GTA, AC, WD pretty much everything has that kind of drop.

The Wii u version only sells more on those games in NPD.

I wonder if the next-gen version of Fifa 15 will be the best-selling one.

A big drop is to be expected for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions but even so, we should remember that last year they sold over 800,000 units combined. The Xbox 360 version sold over 500,000 units, even with a harsh drop it should still be in the 200,000 - 300,000 range. Will the Xbox One version manage to beat that?

In my opinion, the next-gen versions will be the winners but individually it will be PS4 > 360 > XBO > PS3.

Just as a reminder:

Not that interesting of a week. Destiny drops but not higher than many other such titles. Hyrule warriors opens to low sales.

Aren't the PS4 and XB1 retail versions of minecraft out in a couple of weeks? FIFA and Minecraft could block out almost the entire top ten

I wonder what the WW sales range is for Destiny now? And whether there will be an announcement from Activision.
