Not even close, but you probably won't notice unless you look at the two side by side.

Sony would have to be retarded if they don't do a minecraft bundle.

I don't even care about the Vita price-point ($200 is fine for the device). It's the memory cards. What the double-u tee eff?
At least we've got confirmation that Borderlands 2 Vita is the GotY edition. Cross save is a nice touch.
No.

Much better than what we got in the UK
People have convinced themselves that the Vita's existence and investment into game development is somehow hampering the PS4's potential to succeed.
They've never been able to quantify just how it does this - but they feel the Vita should be stamped out, crushed and abolished and then all sorts of exclusive games will materialize for PS4 that would not have otherwise existed.
This lunacy is why people hate on the Vita so much. (That and memory card prices.)

Polygon story updated. Borderlands 2 bundle will be $199. Also includes all Borderlands 2 DLC packs, apparently.
The vita version of Borderlands 2 could be a trading card game for all we know.
When are we gonna see some footage of this thing?
It's pretty clear it's the full game if you read the post, but yeah - some footage would be nice. The vita version of Borderlands 2 could be a trading card game for all we know.

I don't get what's so massively bad about the Vita, and why people hate on it so much
the device is an absolutely stunning mobile game device, and this is from someone who hated the PSP.
A card game that includes cross-save with the PS3 version as well as all the DLC packs? At least try to read the article.
not at all
-however the buttons and battery life are superior so there's that
I have a feeling Borderlands is going to run at 15-20 fps
Wow, not bad at all. Borderlands 2 bundle is a start... one of the first open world title for the Vita, right? They need a Minecraft bundle though. And they need to somehow advertise it's proper, cavey Minecraft.
Why do you guys want this none of the best games even support it.

it's one of those joke things people used to enjoy.

Surprised at people whining about the price on this - $199 seems dirt cheap to me given the pack-in. That said, I'm in AU where we routinely get screwed on pricing so anything would seem reasonable in comparison
You're misinformed. The PS Vita Slim has the same Recommended Retail Price in the UK, as the normal PS Vita.If they do what they did in europe and have it more expensive than OG vita, it's DOA. Well, DOA relative to the vita.
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014...included-in-borderlands-2-bundle/?sf1783423=1Hey Vita fans, we’ve got some great news to share with you today. Since its reveal at the Tokyo Game Show, many of you have asked when the new PlayStation Vita model will be coming to North America. Today, we’re excited to announce the new PS Vita Wi-Fi model (PCH-2000 series) will be available via the Borderlands 2 Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle this Spring. The bundle will include the new slim PS Vita system in black, the first-person role-playing shooter hit Borderlands 2 with six DLC packs, and an 8GB PS Vita memory card – all for $199.99 (MSRP).
That typically contain humor!
Anyway, quite looking forward to this. Never made it all the way through the original BL.

Yeah I guess, I think for us Aussies an entry price of $199 seems absurdly low (well for me at least). Haha. Already easily in impulse-buy territory.I've been in the market for a Vita lately but I've been comparing prices with a minimum 32GB card and it's not the price I want to pay. Unless it were Ys or something I'd rather have a decent storage pack-in for that price.
I never got the impression that anyone hated the Vita (it's a fine device). It's just that nobody is buying it (for whatever reason), which fuels the vicious cycle of no games and etc...
Now, to be fair, there are games for the Vita. They're just not what I want (besides P4G, which I already have in vanilla P4).
