PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS FOR ANYTHING THAT COULD BE CONSIDERED A SPOILER ON THIS THREAD (STORY, BOSSES, EARLY STREAMS, HIDDEN CONTENT, ETC.)

I just found out where the blacksmith that trades weapons for boss souls is. Gonna get to that as soon as I start the game back up.

Where's a good place to drop my summon sign for sunlight medals? SL 90 and I've only just killed the skeleton boss. Think I may be a little overlevelled for this early on? In saying that I've only just had the chance to join the sun bros.

Stuck at work. I need to play some more!

I'm kind of in a rutt in Ballista. I'm just not strong enough, yet.

Having a fantastic time. Just got to Huntsman Cove, although I probably am a bit too overleveled for it. My favorite area so far, visually speaking.

Yeah, I got the bow from him. While it is laughably small and ugly it packs a hell of a punch.

Holy fuck, the B

is the worst location EVER. Could they have made it more obnoxious? At first, I was like "oh wow this place is pretty. surely all those little statues don't shoot poison darts, right?" -_- Enemies are creepy as fuck, too.

I'm about 18 hours in so far, and I'm liking it a lot. The world seems huge this time around. The only thing I don't like is that these games still let me cheese enemies with a bow. lol

What? They actively limited PvP? That sucks balls.

How it works, least far as I've been able to tell.

-Cracked eye'd orbs used to invade. If you successfully invade, get a token of spite
-Trade token of spite into a npc, you join PvP convenant. Now you have red soapstone, people can summon you so you to fight. If you win you get token of spite.
-You can use token of spite to challenge other people in the PvP convenant. If you win... you get a cracked eye orb

So the orbs aren't limited, just you gotta work for them.

Oh look, OT2

Watching Northernlion's LP and he's basically just running past everything and dying a lot more because of it.

Yeah, NL's LP has been pretty funny so far. Don't want to say he's playing it wrong, but it does seem like there's lots of areas where he'd die a lot less if he would stop running and fight. (and get a better weapon)

Dranglec sword is boss.

Mind you saying that I lost 20K souks then another 20K later on.

This is not great.

I think the Drangleic sword is like the new drake sword. Not quite as over powered early on but I think it could carry me through the whole game.
Sadly for the Drangleic sword, I've already picked up the greatsword and that is the fucking bomb.

Oh, that actually makes a lot of sense.

I fee like I have the perfect build, I'm OP as hell, or this game is stupid easy. I've beaten the last 4 areas without dying, including bosses. SL 88ish, I'm in Harvest Valley atm, destroying these guys with my arrows. It's still addicting as hell though. I wanna change my melee weapon, it's a Fire Longsword +5, but nothing has come close to matching its damage and I still can't make the special weapons since I don't have the ember yet. I'm a high DEX build, I found a rapier which I really like and has an A dex stat boost, I'm hoping I can do something with that, but I'm not sure I should commit to it only to find out nothing great will come of it.

You don't need to be empathetic towards me.
The PVP in this is just as bullshit as Dark Souls 1. There is so much lag, spells that clearly come no wheres near you do damage. Such horse shit.

Had to stop watching after he beat
Lost Sinner
because he moved on to an area I haven't explored yet.

It's just hilarious to watch him talk at length about how smart a tactic it is to run from everything while he's constantly getting attacked. Had to run back and forth to the bonfire in Sinner's Rise several times because he just couldn't be bothered to kill the enemies before flipping the elevator switch, meaning it took him longer to pull the lever using his method than it would have been to just kill the enemies.
