I don't know if this is dual because it has 12 GB GDDR5... I am guessing that may be one whole block? Or are they counting it as one since it's a 'research' card and it'd be running in SLI?

12 GB GDDR5 is what you would expect from a dual GPU version of the Titan.

I think the OP needs to make it very clear that this is NOT A GAMING CARD. Its a development card, used for work stations, render farms and super computers. Its been very obvious if you have been watching the stream but still people went bezerk.

Compared to a typical Quadro card this is dirt cheap (3000$ for the TitanZ compared to 5000$ for a Quadro)

There will no doubt be a handful of nerds dumb enough to buy one of these for the 15 minutes of e-fame on their tech forum of choice. And with that I mean nerds who have no use for a card like this and exclusively use it to run benchmarks to post online.

Kind of a given. Maybe not minutes but definitely within the first day. A lot of folks got way too much money to burn through and they're probably not making a ton of these. Especially if they don't think gamers are going to buy it (they are)

True, that is different compared to the Quadro series. This does look to be usable for a gaming PC if you would have the budget. But still, thinking you would need this any time soon is crazy.
