You still don't seem to understand what Occam's razor is. It has been proven true, you then came up with a convoluted reason for why it's not actually true with Geninja.

ITT: People don't know how to handle leaks.
Most of the time, leaks for a game are only proven false or real once the game is released and is in people's hands.
The first leak has 4/6 confirmed so it has more credibility.
You can think some leaks are real, but you can't cite a reason of not being proven false as a reason it is real.

Pokemon from X/Y is vague. That doesn't make the rest of the leak confirmed. It is 1/6 only, so it doesn't have much credibility.

I don't give a crap if the Palutena image is real or not. She's in the game.
In turn, this doesn't mean they're real. I only believe they are fake just because I would think that Sakurai would be much more careful about preventing leaks.
It would be awesome if Sakurai included Palutena in the game but gave her a little facelifting. We'd NEVER be able to prove or disprove the "leak" then

On the note of Kid Icarus, let's talk about Palutena for a moment. Where does everyone stand on these images now?
I don't care how much of a troll Sakurai is, when something this big leaks, you usually formally reveal it ASAP. We've had 2 directs since this surfaced, including one focused entirely around Smash 4, and she wasn't revealed in either of them. That just screams to me that these are fake.
Not if Sakurai did that on purpose. I don't believe it was coincidence that Palutena's Temple stage was revealed like a day or so after.

Also like Greninja, I don't let myself dream this dream because there are so many characters from Kid Icarus Uprising that could beat him to the punch, if there's even a third Kid Icarus character after Palutena (yes, I think it's safe to say Palutena is in the game). I mean, my choice would be Hades (after Palutena), but I could see Medusa giving him some competition. Maybe even Magnus...

Wow. I haven't seen these before, just heard about them. That's a really good fake, if it's fake.
I assume someone has gone through Kid Icarus : Uprising to see if that shot of Palutena was potentially lifted from that game? That would help a lot getting the scanlines and resolution consistent with the 3DS screen. Also, is the shot of Mario and the stage in the background from any other known POTD or anything?
EDIT : It's funny, but of the two of them, Mario looks more out of place in these shots than Palutena!

Yep, analysis has determined that it's almost certainly an original model. Doesn't mean that it's real, just means that if it's fake, there was some extreme effort put into this.

Also, re: Sakurai not commenting on the Palutena leak -- so what? Actually, right after the Palutena leak was anonymously posted (on /v/, I think), the Pic of the Day was our first shot of the Reset Bomb Forest. Coincidence? More like a knowing wink from Sakurai, I reckon.
I think down the line when Iwata is doing the Smash developer interview with Sakurai, Sakurai will hint at the Palutena leak.
I think it resembles some of the images of Palutena on the bottom screen during dialogue a bit, but I'd need to play the game again to see if that suspicion is just me misremembering how her drawn face looks like.

Well, even if the E3 leak was fake (just lucky guesses), Little Mac didn't get revealed until the following year. So he had to have seen a list that included a shitload of characters he was about to reveal and still waited a long, long time to reveal Mac.

It was actually the pic with Viridi, Reset Bomb Forest had already been confirmed.
It's an original Palutena model, not from anything else. And everyone combed through every available screenshot at the time and couldn't find that exact version of Mario. No one has been able to debunk it, even after all these months. Which is quite a feat on the Internet, and why I think it's real.

Looking at it now it never dawned on me that the staff looks completely disproportioned. Like, literally, it looks broken when she holds it in the second picture. I have my doubts about this picture's legitimacy unless someone at Namco's design department have trouble modeling a straight line.

To add to this, even though a stage reveal could be seen as an "eh" level coincidence, that entire week was filled with Kid Icarus stuff in shots as well as the amazing Alphonso conducts when Toon Link is playing on stage thing.

Honestly there's a lot of reasons to be a sceptical of the second leak. Until further proof I'm not letting it colour my predictions like the first one.
As for the Palutena images, my stance has not changed.

Wow, thanks. Well in that case - that's a HUGE amount of work to put into a fake. I still don't know if it's more likely to be a fake or a leak though, seems like no one who would have access to real info from the game would want to risk their job to let it out, right?
And, regardless of the authenticity of the leak - I think Palutena is in the game.

Technically all of the pokemon could be either gender as well as Fit Trainer. Characters like Mr. G&W, Ice Climbers, Ganondorf and Mewtwo just couldn't be paired with anyone.I don't think there's enough female characters for that
I think those two look pretty similar. Not perfectly similar, but still more similar than the leaked model and the original Kid Icarus: Uprising model

There's no particular reason to believe this.
The lighting makes it look strange, and the outline blending into the background near the top doesn't help any either.

Those poses are very similar to the ones from the leak, and the model does look pretty similar, though it's hard to tell at such low resolutions. But that could mean anything - maybe Sakurai used the AR Card model as a base for the Smash model, or even vice-versa!
Does anyone know if there's any kind of eye/face tracking in Smash 4? I know the character's faces have gotten more expressive this time around, and it's weird to me that Mario is gazing into the distance instead of looking up at Palutena's face in the leak, but is that even something the characters do in this game?...

It doesn't have to be "True" or "Fake", and I don't see a need to apply "court logic" to this and make it "fake until proven true". It doesn't work like that. It's dumb to see people start saying "Burden of proof" and crap like that.
