Oooh, it was almost the third week in a row that zero games on a Nintendo platform made it into the top 40, but Pokémon just about crept in there.

3DS inches its way back in.

Strange that Yoshi's New Island is doing so well in France and Italy though, it really wasn't that great.

Still blown away by how well minecraft is doing on 360, fair play.

Did football manager actually do anything for Vita? Sure I saw some people predict that the football manager fans would buy a vita just to play that.

Have current vita owners even bought it?

No Fifa World Cup being on the PS4/XB1 is just money being shoved in the furnace, not to mention wasn't EA the one expecting at least a combined 10 million current gen console's at this point, makes it seem even more ridiculous.

Can someone please fill me in on whether the Vita version is the same as PC and the major features are not missing?

I do see people with Ipads playing Football Manager and guess even though its gimped people are content with a portabale experience being that rather than buying a handheld for it.

Yup. Not only that, but if you start a classic mode save on PC, it can actually be transferred to the Vita version and vice-versa.

Thats probably because it has a limited and dwindling potential audience though until MS unbundles it.

Titanfall XBOnes position is basically a console sales barometer at this point, and being #2 for the week is pretty darn good. Price drops doin' work.

I'm sure Pokemon Y was on offer somewhere (bundle with a 2DS perhaps?), which would explain the re-entry.

The cost of 3DS titles is personally so prohibitive against any impulse purchases I look to make. At least with my Vita I could pick up numerous titles digitally in the frequent PSN store sales for the price of a solitary 3DS title.

No doubt. Buy a 3DS today for Pokemon but look at picking up other titles in the library and its expensive. Reduce the price of the older titles already Nintendo.

It was on sale on Amazon for a few days, but it's back to full price again.

And *sigh* Amazon has run out of 360 copies AGAIN. This is the third time now. They aren't the only ones either, so many of my local retailers ran out of copies, I had to drive half an hour away to my closet Asda to get a bloody copy. These guys need to sort their shit out.

About the only upside is that even my small 3DS collection would retain a high resell value if I was ever forced to sell them, since Nintendo titles generally hold their value (which then becomes a feedback loop).

Yeah, between this and SMT4 not making it to Europe I regret buying the damn thing. I'm broke right now so I can't afford games at full price which really isn't a problem thanks to steam and PSN sales but with Nintendo consoles it's ridiculous, fuck that noise. I wonder how long they think they can get away with this in this day and age.

The UK market is fine and healthy. It's just that with the sun out, sport in full swing and the Easter bank holidays in the last week people haven't had much time to play games. Plus, there haven't been any big releases recently.

I wouldn't say that. Infamous rose up a spot from 11 to 10, but we still know that PS4 is outselling Xbone. I don't think you can use this as a barometer IMO.

Noticed Xbox Titanfall bundle go back to £399, it's behind PS4 again on Amazon (it was consistently ahead at £349). I think MS know what to do soon then, official price drop + game, that should be enough to keep competition fierce.

Of course the whole UK game market stable that's because of mobile market made it up the loss.
I'm not sure if the chart is still showing healthy as before. I'm pretty sure it decrease the fact because the sales track is way way old fashion now. We do need them to update the chart with the new world order revolution - "Digital"
Hopefully we don't have to wait too long when they decide to add digital sales in the chart.

~7K at No2 chart is extreme bad, no matter what day in the year.

Its only a barometer for the XBOne though, and how inFamous/PS4 is doing is irrelevant in that.

Titanfall is bUndked on XBO. If it wasn't those numbers would look a lot different.

Interesting. Titanfall still holding well although I'm suprisied the splits are now 50% XB1, 48% 360 especially with a random week of Minecraft sales coming between the two

All 3 placements are likely very close saleswise

I have a new way to chart the placements that take into account charting position. I'll post it when I get a chance later today

Oh ... and CoD number (90%):

‘Titanfall’ (-41%) stomps to a third straight week at No1 and its 4th in total since launch. EA continue to occupy the top two spots as ‘2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil’ (-42%) remains at No2 in its second week. ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (11,970 / -27%) climbs two places this week, occupying the No3 spot for the first time since the end of February. ’FIFA 14’ (-31%) remains at No4 ahead of ‘Lego The Hobbit’ (-46%) which slips two places to No5 in its third week on the chart. With little in the way of new releases this week ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ (-20%) is up to No6 while ‘South Park: The Stick of Truth’ (-41%) is down to No7. ‘Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ (-33%) and ‘Battlefield 4’ (-29%) are at No9 and 10 meaning that EA titles make up 50% of the Top 10 this week. A PC release of ‘Trials Fusion’ (-60%) can’t prevent last week’s new title slipping to No14.

Along with the mentioned bundle I think GAME may have had it displayed on some Easter promotion bays in store. I know we got sent a chunk of stock out of the blue for it at any rate.
