Graphically. It looks a generation above Forza 5.
plus the 10 year waiting game...

C'mon.
DriveClub looks better but not an entire generation difference.
I think that's apples and oranges. I think their engine just wasn't ready at all. Single fucking car time trials, which couldn't even hold 30fps. Who knows if it's ready still. DC honestly is a pretty strange "next-gen" racer. 30fps. Doesn't have rain or snow effects. Doesn't have extensive car damage. Doesn't have proper crashes. In many ways it seems kind of old fashioned.
There's no genre that day/night cycles benefits from a gameplay perspective more than racing games.
https://twitter.com/Rushy33/status/461148698500935680@adamdsloat You'll be seeing regular updates now from us with all these details.
Tomorrow we will share a detailed update on development and answer as many questions as we can from you all. In the meantime let us know what you think of the new video and tag friends youll be driving with when you get your hands on DRIVECLUB later this year.
Going to be EXTREMELY disappointed if this isn't 60 fps.
Vampire Simulator.
I meant playable to the public, not tiny-ass 5 second facebook videos.
So then Sony's 2014 lineup would be a port of a 2013 PS3 game and a game that was supposed to be a 2013 launch game? Ouch. I really hope not, their lineup is kind of pathetic WITH the Order coming this year.
It's a Tuesday in US and Wednesday in EU , probably to work in with the store update days for PS+
Sony have been confident enough to show gameplay all year , see all the I:SS pre release stuff. Isn't Jett a troll account anyway ?
I wouldn't even say it looks better at all, although it's still a great looking game, but the important part is it's finally back from the shadows. Hopefully we'll see even more of it before E3, I'm hoping for some actual gameplay videos with multiple AI opponents.
You are going to be EXTREMELY disappointed then.
FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THE JEDI ARE EVIL
I wouldn't be surprised if Uncharted was a 2016 May release with the changes made... might have added morpheus support. If they have a Driveclub demo at E3 with Morpheus... Mind blown then
The infamous material was all super sampled as well. Don't always believe what you see/what you are told. Jett isn't a troll account
They release new images.
Original size are 8000 x 4500 lol.
While there not playable to the public , they were more than 5 secs facebook clips .

https://www.facebook.com/driveclubofficialWe are working hard to make it worth the wait. We'll explain why we needed this extra time in a more detailed post tomorrow.

Also, is this game seriously coming the same week as Batman, Dragon Age, Alien Isolation, and Shadow of Morder?
Geez, not exactly doing this game any favors. Then again I suppose the main "selling" point is that it's free with PS+.
What on earth have they been spending all their time on? I mean, I'm nowhere near an expert on game development, but I played a damned demo of this last AUGUST. The driving model felt fine, the graphics looked fine. I can't imagine they've overhauled both of those things in the past year. So what was missing? What's the new thing they added or the things supposedly broken that had to be fixed? What could they have found that was so bad that Driveclub had to be pushed back at the last possible moment (like, basically gold master or fuck everything) for a whole year? And in such a way that heavily implies they didn't even know when the problem would be fixed until much closer to this release date re-announcement?
If we ever get to hear the story of this game's post-mortem, I want to read it. Maybe this is totally normal and expected, but from here it looks like something really bad happened and they're only now digging their way out of it.
EDIT: Finally got to watch the trailer. Unless the graphics have improved (and honestly who even knows, even if they look better what's a bullshot clip and what's real?), there's literally nothing new in the way of improvements or changes except the release date. Their vision of the game as we saw it last summer looks to be completely intact. So what changed?
