that's 5 countries at least unless they announce more, the PS Plus version is getting 1. that is not slighlty less content which the quote below suggests.

The PlayStation Plus Edition hasn’t changed. It’s hardly a demo because you get access to all of the game’s features online and offline. The difference is that you only have 10 cars and you can only race in one country (which gives you access to 5 tracks with 11 distinct variants).
Simply because the PlayStation Plus Edition doesn’t include all of the cars and tracks that you’ll need to complete DRIVECLUB Tour.

The PlayStation Plus version of DriveClub will not include as much content as the full retail game, Evolution Studios has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.
Discussing the differences between the PS Plus Edition of DriveClub, which PlayStation Plus members will be able to download for free at the launch of PS4, and the retail version, senior designer Ben Gouldstone said:
"The only difference between the PS Plus edition and the boxed retail is that there's a slightly scaled down version of content...
"We haven't released specific details about what we're going to refine for the PS Plus Edition yet, but in terms of the gambit of features, you're going to be able to issue challenges, you're doing to be able to do asynchronous online races, you're going to have all of the single player content in terms of events. The specifics we haven't gone into yet but you're going to have the full gaming experience."
Gouldstone claims that content was cut from the PS Plus Edition in order to get the downloadable version "immediately into someone's hands", rather than for commercial reasons. Cut content is expected - although not confirmed - to include certain cars and tracks.
"This game is huge," he continues, "and to have the full scale download as the initial [PS plus] release, it was a conscious decision to make it as slick as possible."

Evolution Studios has explained the differences between the retail and free PlayStation Plus versions of its upcoming racer DriveClub.
Posting on NeoGAF, design director Paul Rustchynsky revealed the availability of the PlayStation Plus version, stating that it “will be available well into the new year.” He also confirmed that there will be a discount offered to users who upgrade from the PS Plus version.
“There will be a discount to upgrade to the full digital edition from the PS+ edition,” he wrote, “but prices won’t be announced for a few more weeks yet.”
Rustchynsky also revealed that players will be able to earn the game’s Platinum Trophy in the PS Plus Edition. ”You can earn the platinum trophy in the PS+ Edition, remember it’s the full game minus a few cars/tracks,” he explained.

The PS+ Edition of DRIVECLUB will be available well into the new year, so no need to worry.
There will be a discount to upgrade to the full digital edtion from the PS+ edition, but prices won't be announced for a few more weeks yet.
- When you upgrade from the PS+ Edition you get the full digital edition content.
- You can earn the platinum trophy in the PS+ Edition, remember its the full game minus a few cars/tracks.
- Rear-view mirrors as you've seen in the latest direct feed footage just show the environment - you'd be surprised how limited the visibility in the mirrors are for a lot of these cars and for gameplay purposes we want to give the best visibility.
- We are working on a photo mode, but that's all I can say about it right now.
- You guys wanted uncompressed footage and obviously the PS4 capture utilises some form of video compression to ensure the videos aren't ridiculously large (the raw direct feed videos we captured are 6GB for 2 minutes of footage).
- We're working on alternative solutions for trying to get the highest quality vids up online quickly by ourselves.
No Split-Screen I'm afraid.
The US get a similar deal: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/08/20/driveclub-pre-order-bonuses-revealed/ "Purchase Driveclub at retail or digitally via PlayStation Store, and you’ll get a free 3-Month PlayStation Plus Trial"
Everything is going to be just fine.
another, the Q and A
We’re currently not talking numbers just yet. There are however various locations spread all over the planet, both southern and northern hemispheres. We’ll be announcing where and exactly how many later on but there are some definite surprises.
Yes, the PS Plus version will be the exact same as the full version, except that it may be missing a few assets such as cars or tracks, that will be found in the full version. However the online multiplayer, the asynchronous challenges and the single player campaign will all be present in the PS Plus version. The PS Plus version gives us to the biggest open community, day one. This game is all about socialising.
