Early Acess day 0 for me, I really really really love Killing Floor and I would like to help the developers with some feedback and dosh.

REALLY excited. Killing Floor is my most played game on Steam, and my favorite arena-based game ever.

I didn't mind the dlc, for most part it was cosmetic and the weapon packs were just to support the modders who made them. i do agree they're way overpriced.

Truly this has been my most successful day on Gaf and Twitter combined

One of the few upcoming or potential games I pay in full day one. Don't care that pre-ordering is a sucker's game. Tripwire needs to have my money the moment it's possible. Killing Floor is a seminal work. One of the greatest games I've ever played. Dosh.

Sweet. First one is my most played game on Steam, so looking forward to this.

Is this going to worth playing single player?

Probably not. I know some friends who played Killing Floor Single Player for perk-leveling, but it honestly is a co-op focused experience, but trust me when I say the first game was a fantastic co-op experience.

But if it's like the first game (which it should be and seems like it), then the game has a strong co-op focus. The community for the first game was very good, though.

All I really have to say is that I'm glad this game was finally revealed publicly.

Certainly looking forward to its release.

Yeah the community was great. Id say 90% of my in game time in Kf was just with random players. And people always work together, you just dont get lone wolf douchebags in KF. And if you do, they generally die in wave 1

I hope they really balance the attacking hordes. Whenever you're surrounded by enemies - even when you're together with your team - they kill you far too quickly. It's frustrating that you sometimes don't get a chance to fight back depending on your loadout and class.

Left 4 Dead didn't have this problem because the zombies only took off small chunks of health per hit and even when you were down, the game gave you a chance to recover and wait for help.

Killing Floor doesn't allow lone wolfing or trolling other players, especially on the higher difficulties. Players die to fast, and the game ends. I don't remember once using voice chat in a KF game, but I remember plenty of well coordinated defenses. Cooperation is automatically encouraged by the game's design. Brilliant. Love KF.

Good, KF is a solid game, very fun.

Only thing... I was expecting UE4, but whatever, the original was UE2 after all; and it looks pretty good i guess.

but thats what makes you work together even better. I thought it was too tough at first but as long as everyone has everyone elses back, well then...BOTH BARRELS FOR YOU, YOU BASTARDS

I've done nothing with my life except eat and fap
.BOTH BARRELS FOR YOU, YOU BASTARDS

KF has been the only game since the days of Q2 LAN games which made me choke on my own adrenaline. Pounding metal, guns taking over like 50% of my screen and THE HORDE OF ZEDS PUSHING AND PUSHING AND PUSHING AND... there is no survivor left.

Is it just me, or does MEAT standing for Massive Evisceration and Trauma give off really strong '90s advertising vibes? I can't think of any games off the top of my head, but I seem to recall acronyms being all the rage some years ago.

EDIT:

I might be in the minority, but I hope they make leveling less boring. The amount of crap you kill/farm to get to level 5/6 was insane.

Never understood the hype of this game. Maybe because I did not experienced it on release date.

But the game HUD, menu and loading screens are so poorly done... I think I may give too much attention for good presentations.

KF is a seasonal tradition for my friends and I every Christmas and every summer. I am super hyped for this! I wish it was coming to PS4 though because I don't think my aging PC will be able to run it. :p

You never played l4d on expert did you? 10 fooking health taken for every infected hit.

KF was a budget title, but that was part of the charm. Yeah it didnt have the production values of L4D, but the funny voice overs and B-Movie monster design disguised a game that to this day, i dont think has been bettered in terms of gunplay. The moment i blasted a hallway full of zeds into gibs with the alt fire of the hunting shotgun, i was sold. And DAT LEVER ACTION RELOAD ANIMATION. Om nom nom. I could reload that rifle all day.

Aw HELL yess, Killing floors guns were some of the most well done weapons I've used in video games.

Leveling up classes took wayy too long though but honestly the game was so much fun I didn't even care.

I'mma wop my wad when this comes out.

Heh, Tripwire were bad at lying that this didn't exist~

Still, there's enough blood in KF2 to make Sam Raimi envious. And here's the crazy part: it stays. Bloodstains become permanent fixtures of Killing Floor 2 maps for entire matches. Tripwire's designers grin mischievously when I ask how they did it.
Oh baby!

All over my face. Yes, sir. Yes please.

So many hours spent with the first. Hunting Shotgun was the ultimate aphrodisiac.
Now the one, one thing I'm afraid of is that it won't make its way into Germany - my part of the world - uncensored. The first KF was initially, and stayed that way for a long time. Later on, it had been censored fairly heavily. Not retroactively, thank fuck.

I'll do whatever it takes to get my mitts on a uncut version. Thankfully, we have Steam Trading ^^ .

I would love it if the game came out on UE4, but those screenshots don't even scream UE3 to me.

Small studio, lowered production values. Killing Floor has some amazing gameplay and that is all that matters.
