They're blowing their load a month early, which makes me wonder what the hell they have planned for E3. Just what dark magic is Phil Spencer using for the E3 conference that warrants Halo being a game they have to announce early? It's gonna be crazy.

That is SO far out it's going to be annoying holding conversations and people blast out list wars and this is on it even though it's a year and a half.

In the lucid dreams of fanboys. Halo is the biggest MS IP and nothing could top it sales wise. It's not like revealing a title would eliminate it from the upcoming show. The will have to show the title in action. I suspect the same will go for Sunset Overdrive.
I find the recurring "Oh my God, what is under wraps must be earth shattering since they mentionned such ans such tidbit" incredibly funny...

Game was announced last year at E3 so I can see how people expected to release this year. The same way some people still think Uncharted 4 is this year and not 2015.

Well that's nice....I guess. MS has been trying their best to generate headlines this week, and good on them. These morsels of info don't take much away from E3 but still create buzz.

I think the will gauge reactions from Halo 2 before making a decision about armour abilities or the equivalent.

Spartan 2 themselves were just top secret, but part of the Navy themselves, not under the ONI branch.

What? That has nothing to do with AA. Its the only innovative thing in halo since Halo 2. It can be balanced better and was significantly in h4 over reach. No reason to throw out one of the most fun aspects of the game now.
I'm going to be shocked if AA are gone so i'm not worried. I love em.

Yeah and it's not because there is some big beyond megaton news either.
There is just no way Phil Spencer is going to let the mind share be that all Microsoft has is Halo. They are clearly going to reveal H2A as the big E3 game and bumped this so that their whole line-up wasn't Halo. This new 'omg if HALO 5 got bumped..." stuff is pretty funny. But, E3 is about hype so ... Half-Life 3 CONFRIEMD XBOX1 xclusssssive!

I recall that year where they announced H1A and Halo 4 next to each other, and people seemed to laugh at that as being emblematic of MS' over-reliance on the franchise

I think palmer is looking for the chief...hence the mirror imaging, so Cortana is gone for sure, which is why the need to introduce a second female character...they could have flipped the image as well, but I think its a way of telling us that this might not be Chief's story, the other Spartan is going to be a central character...maybe differering perspectives which mesh into something common...something on the lines of halo 2...
