This is what happens when you date multiple girls in persona. That Aigis looks like a boss that would chase you in Catherine.

different subject:
I wonder if Zen and Rei will be slightly op, to encourage people to use them in Persona Q. Like Metis in The Answer.

'sup, guys?

We now have to get to enough posts where we can abandon this thread for a new OT, lock this one, and send it to the abyss at the bottom of NeoGAF.

There's a question in Catherine that made me chuckle because Im pretty sure it was a nod to Aigis, while not using the typical if it was "same sex as you with and operation to be of the oppsite sex" when it goes in that type of question.
It was something like:
"If you meet the perfect love partner of your life (perfect beauty, perfect mind, same hobbies), but you discovered that it was a robot, would you still go out with it?"
I said I wouldnt mind. lol

"If you meet the perfect love partner of your life (perfect beauty, perfect mind, same hobbies), but you discovered that she was non-canon, would you still go out with her?"

I had to quit playing yesterday just before the true final boss at P4. I'm so sad that it's over soon. I stopped playing P3 at the the time after 40 hours because I found the game overall boring. When I started P4, I thought I would quit after a few hours, but this game is simply amazing. The story is interesting, the dungeons are a bit boring but the bosses are challenging and the battle system is fast, the characters are funny and the voice acting is excellent.
Is the anime worth it to watch? I watched a little at youtube to see how it is and Yu is way cooler in the show. He's so badass. Yu marry me...

I think most of us felt that way after beating P4. That first time is just magical you know?

If you're a Yu-sexual, then the anime is pretty much a must-watch.

So what you're saying is that it's unfortunate that I've bookmarked the last two pages to re-post all these lovely images on page one of the new OT when it gets made?

:D

Meia, I like the way you think

So just beated Catherine yesterday. Really good game that makes me hyped to see some of what brings to the table in terms of presentation for Persona 5.
Got the good Katherine ending, so seems I was doing
good actions
even though I was just answering how I thought I would answer in real life. I still have a problem though with the choosing of the two girls. While Vincent knows how Katherine really is, the people playing the game know nothing about her (
understandable with Catherine though
), and that makes she look during the whole game in a bad light.
Even if she is the "good" route
she seems like a prick and too pushy in the majority of scenes she appears. It didn't help for me that she had that strange color of fingernails, I know, I know, it's a pretty stupid thing to hate, but I've always disliked that since I was a kid (I don't know why though). I probably wouldn't have chosen her in real life,
even if I would have tried to be a good guy with what was happening in the game.
So getting that ending didn't do much for me, although I understand it. She is maybe a great girl when acting normally when they were a couple, but the player never sees that, so they can never think like Vincent as he thinks in that ending.
Even if the game at the end says theres not a good or bad way to do things, there clearly seems to be (although I don't know how good the other endings are so that my change my opinion). I also felt that most of the questions to be truly answered by me, had to have a "depends" answer, most of the time I was saying, yeah I would do this, but I would also do that depending of the situation.
The puzzles are tough as hell and I had to put it on easy at the 6th day, the normal stages, even if tough, are doable, but I couldn't think well while a boss was attacking me as fast as he could with instant death attacks. Easy is much more manageble and fun for me.
The bar segment was probably the best of the game, talking with the people that went in and out, your friends, Erica, the boss of the bar Stan Lee, strange characters, the phone message system (loved that), the drinking giving you pieces of trivia of those drinks... Some of these things need to be in Persona 5.
I really like the music of the game, my favourite tracks are the ones in the puzzle segments, that have little pieces of classical music.
In the end, I had a lot of fun with everything, I love the presentation and I would recommend the game.

I agree with you about Katherine. I also got the same ending as you just by acting as I would do in real life, but after I watched the Freedom endings, I must say that those are the perfect endings for me. If you are not willing to play the entire game again, I strongly recommend to at least watch those endings on youtube.
I loved how tough the puzzles were, they reminded me of old-school arcade games. If you thought that normal was a pain in the ass, try hard difficulty then!
And yes, the bar segments are pretty good. I seriously loved the message system. I'd love to have that in Persona 5 as some mechanic regarding social links (it probably won't happen, but I can dream)
The music is amazing. I used to have a blog (in Spanish) where sometimes I talked about certain soundtracks I loved and Catherine's soundtrack was my favorite among the ones I wrote about.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Catherine is one of the best games I've ever played and, believe it or not, I've learned a thing or two about myself while playing it :p Also, I bought P4G because I played Catherine and I knew it was made by the same people, so in a way I'm here thanks to Catherine.

That's not what I meant. I'm just wondering how long the PQ delay will be for localization.

Irvine Calif. -- May 16, 2014 -- The first of the four Persona® games ATLUS will release in 2014-15 will be the fighting game Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, developed by Arc System Works and published by Atlus U.S.A., Inc. Coming fall 2014 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the Xbox 360®, P4AU will retail for $59.99 and include special pre-order bonus items to be revealed at a later date. Pre-orders are open now at various retailers, which you can find on http://www.atlus.com/p4au/.

P4U...$59.99 in USD!?1?1?

That's like...75 bucks over here. (PS3 games usually retail for $62 or so in Singapore)

...it better be one heck of a sweet limited edition.

Not sure if those Best Buy pages from a little while back were taken down, but if they were then they're back now:

360
PS3

Still mentions Ken even without an official announcement, and the press release says "Pre-orders are open now at various retailers, which you can find on http://www.atlus.com/p4au/," even though the site hasn't been updated.

Are we expecting an announcement for Ken incoming if this press release is going out and pointing folks to retailer pre-order pages?

EDIT:

So are we not expecting PQ this year anymore?

I thought that atlusprime implied that Ultimax would come first, and that Q's localization was farther off. It's still coming Fall 2014, but it'll be after Ultimax, so maybe October or November?

Assuming they won't region lock it, I'll get Ultimax for a mere 44 €. :)

They're so gonna region lock it, won't they?

Maybe I try to do one more playthrough and then watch the rest in youtube. Good to hear the freedom endings seem to be more inline with your thoughts.
And yes, the messaging sytem is amazing, It's really intuitive and still seems so deep. Something like this in P5 to interact with friends/girlfriends could be amazing. Maybe they tried this as a small test?
Good to hear Catherine attracts other gamers to play other Persona Team games. I played P3 first and that made me buy P4, that was when it was released on PS2 and during those years I had lot of other work so sadly I couldnt finish P4 (even though I was loving it more than 3). Funny that you mention about Catherine having some effect in your life, as it happened to me something similar with P4Golden. Just some months ago came a really bad time in my life, with friends and work, it's possibly the most depressing time I have been in my whole life. During that time I got a cheap PSVita for P4 Golden, and started the game finally again. The characters in that game gave me hope again and I started to became happy little by little, and even started drawing again (and that how someone here told me about this Persona community and why Im here right now :) ). Thats why P4 turned into one of my favourite games ever, thanks to the help and courage it gave me.

About the music blog you had. Are you from Spain?
