I prefer suits like the Batfleck and BTAS suits, yet I can still recognize howthe badass AK's is. As far as visibly armored suits go, this one is legit.

I liked the AA/AC batsuits, the character model was alemways too bulky. AO and AK models look about as big, but aren't seemingly skin tight. They happen to look much better in comparison.

Same situation with the long ears and tankmobile. If they're going to be long and the batmobile a tank, this how they should be done.

Love that its basically battle armor....makes sense with the evolution of the series as the villains become more numerous and take over larger and larger areas

It doesn't have flexing, rotating, moving pieces of armor all over it. It's much more elegant, and has the plates underneath.

his old arkham suit seems to have provided less protection (you can see his exposed skin) than the newer suits which are better padded and armored for taking and stopping blows. I like the upgraded suit

I can understand the design for the new suit. Batman has to load up for his toughest fight yet... and they want to be practical and somewhat realistic, so the Adam West/BatmanvSuperman/ArkhamCity cotton/polyester suit makes no sense. (IMO it never really did... if Bruce is so smart, why is he wearing clima cool technology)

At the same time, they don't want to be accused of borrowing from Chris Nolan too much, so carbon fibre/kevlar has been replaced with straight up metal... which I guess is ok because it's a video game and Batman appears to be 6'2 250 and built like a rock in this one.

The suit looks phenomenal. In fact I wouldn't have minded if Bats looked like the arkham knight. The idea that he would run around in the material he used to is asinine.

I'm glad they used UE3 for this. They should understand the engine's intricacies by now, and should be applying Montreal's improvements from Origins. Compared with something like Daylight, Arkham Knight looks much better. It's the Samaritan footage from years back in game form, and I'm happy that it's Batman that gets this treatment.

I'm hoping it'll come out this year, but should a delay be necessary, then so be it.

I hope if they plan on incorporating the Riddler like the last three games, that they'll make the challenges he uses a bit more mentally grandiose instead of "practice your batarang skills...what a puzzler!"

These games are so amazing each and every one but I feel less and less inclined to do some of this side-content as it feels more padded out and unimportant.

Sounds like he's consigned to underground stunt driving missions this time around. Better than covering the entire map in neon green markers, I think.

I think I always thought of Batman as lithe but muscular, capable of feats of strength without looking like it. It's one reason enemies rush him, because he isn't clearly bulging with vein-rich biceps and they don't get that feeling that they made a huge mistake until he is judo-throwing them across the room. On the age-old scale from ninja to Haggar, he always seemed to be left of center toward ninja overall.

TAS, whether intentionally or due to artstyle, fits this view of Batman for me. Rocksteady Batman really doesn't. He becomes bigger and more armored with every iteration.

It's not something that will keep me from playing the game, but I at least finally realized why I look at this Batman and think "This does not fit my concept of the character."
