I'm curious to see if RAD has dealt with those flat brick walls. I'm expecting to see some tessellation or POM on such surface.

Also, this game reportedly has some amazing physics. I'd like to see that part of the game in action.

Oh I have my skepticism, but mostly about why they are showing this now as opposed to E3. I just think reading into the timing of today's twitch stream for them trying to fly under the radar with a mediocre update is a bit much.

They are obviously hyping it up, so hopefully it delivers.

I think the last bit we saw was kind of a joke. The game seems to be about the crazy weapons and working with your AI team, along with the physics interactions, so they showed normal weapons, not interacting with the team, and no destruction, so they could reveal that stuff now and drop jaws.

I think blink is referring to monster (werewolf) reveal...as in, if you blink you will miss the monster.

Seems like companies are starting to realize that in this new era of social media and everything being interconnected, you don't have to wait for E3 to showcase a title and get the hype rolling for millions of people. You can get millions of views on YouTube, tens of thousands of retweets of video, hundreds of thousands of views of it on a forum and get the same effect these days.

Still expect it to be shown in a big way at E3 but these pre-e3 showcases are awesome to see from big titles this year.

I don't know why people think a technical leap means there can't be a design leap, historically that has not been the case at all, it's actually the opposite. The technological leap allows for game design elements not previously utilized.
