g_howhud 0 in the console disables the HUD. Bizarrely the hands_show command has been disabled in the retail build.

toggle hands_show works fine for me.

No downsampling, vanilla settings etc. Nice, clean game. Will see what quality I can get with higher res, different AA for my second playthrough I guess. And being one of those games that has the UI fade away (once at full health and out of combat) it makes screenshotting easier :)

I just find it (as elitist at is will sound) against the point of the thread when people post pics with no AA and medium settings more than anything.

The title of the thread is "last HOPE for image quality." I always thought of that to be in contrast with the console screenshot threads (where image quality is more of a rarity). I don't think anyone has ever interpreted that as a requirement. For some of us, maximum image quality is a personal requirement, but the methods to achieve that are sometimes a bit overwhelming to the average user who just wants to play games and take screenshots :)

That said, I'm pretty darn happy K-Putt finally got his account approved. We needed his shots around here.

Love this artstyle, and the shots are great.

So glad to hear the gunplay is good from so many people! Really want to pick this up.
Thanks. The audio could be better (shotgun sounds weak in particular ) but otherwise, gg, has been a very pleasant surprise for me. Pick it up for sure when it hits your price range.

What's the best way to make screenshots? I would use Fraps with PNG-screenshots but I don't like the yellow fps-count that has to be displayed so that the screenshot function works.

I use Steam for my Steam games, but for everything else?

You can hide the overlay of FRAPS and still take Screenshots .
 
It a previous gen game with almost nothing added to PC compared to console versions. Why wouldn't it run well?

Geez. What is left of humanity.

If it runs well - last gen port, looks awful, Ubisoft crap.

If it runs badly - next-gen awesomeness, woho!!!

It's Crysis 2 all over again.

Totally understand that.

Just thought when everyone is so anal about any wrong aspect ratio and minor compression in a pic, that quality settings would go along with that.

As I said though, was just thinking out loud and it doesn't bother me either way.

Wolfenstein looks amazing with proper AA. (Those 16xAA+downsampling shots are gorgeous). Now if only it was playable at 60FPS :( And didn't have texture pop-in.

According to reports, even a 780Ti can't maintain a solid 60FPS at 1600p with no AA>
 
I always ask this as like a trademark o f mine, but does watch dogs have a per object motionblur? or jsut the usual lazy dev screen based one?
