I just don't own them yet. Have had plenty of open world games sitting in my backlog while I wait for them to continually drop in price.

lol how much longer are you gonna wait? Pretty sure Saint's Row 3 complete was under $10 dozens of times over the past months.

The game does intrigue me but deep down I know I'll play it for five minutes and get bored. Plus I have Assassin's Dogs to play through.

Who are you kidding? It'll be a +1 someday, if it isn't already.

===

I bet zanGief.exe is waiting for the inevitible Saint's Row complete franchise pack Humble bundle for <$5 BTA.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
Wow, that first person platforming game looks cool.

This game looks better than Assassin's Dogs though!

is it much better?

Let me re-iterate and fix my post; if the game wasn't First Person View I would've had more interest in it.

Nabs has said it's a lot better since it offers additional options such as using the DS4's touch pad thingy.

If anyone is interested in DS4Windows, please check out the J2K variant. Just install DS4Windows like normal, and then download J2K and use those files instead. It has more options, and he is planning to add game specific profiles in the future.

Right now it has basic profile support, a simple way to switch button configs, and good touch pad support. I have my touchpad set to Screenshot (left side), Voice chat (right side), Shadowplay (top). Tip: If you're having trouble getting keyboard presses to work, make sure you check off "Scan" on the keyboard screen.

In theory, you should only have to delete your DS4Tool directory (if desired) and then follow whatever setup process the new DS4Windows uses to get the software part up and running. Since you're not using the (best) Scarlet Crush DS3 (and DS4) service, there's nothing that should've been installed period, other than the device drivers for x360 controller and such and you'd need those for DS4Windows or any other SCP DS3 service derivative.

DS4Windows actually uses Scarlet Crush. They just don't recommend replacing your bluetooth driver.

good things about new ducktales:

- plays like the old one

bad things about new ducktales:

- shut the fuck up everyone oh my god

also the proportions confuse me

are the ducks supposed to be super small or something?

every level has a background with regular stuff that's 10 times bigger than the player. I don't get it

2 and Third have been really cheap already, both were part of the $1 tier of the Deep Silver bundle (both times). IV will be cheap soon given that I got it for $20 last year.

The game does intrigue me but deep down I know I'll only idle for cards. Plus I have Assassin's Dogs to play through.
Fixed :p

As long as I deem necessary? There is no rush as I have plenty of other games to play and buy.

That would be a deal worth waiting for.
A shame since all 3 of them are absolutely excellent games (even if for SR2 you *really* need the Gentlemen of the Row mod given that the port is garbage) and seems like you really love open world games.

Goddamnit, Ducktales is like the Dark Souls of 2d-platformers. The bosses and even the stages aren't exactly cakewalk and having to go through the whole stage after dying to a boss is tedious. The stages are fun the first time, but they get boring after failing a boss couple of times.
Without the nostalgia factor this game would be so much less fun.

I've never played the NES game and I enjoy DuckTales >_>;

For those that are playing DuckTales, have you played Castle of Illusion HD yet? Because that one is another great platformer.

You should play Holy Diver. :|

I've played through both of them (emulated) multiple times - it gets a bit easier once you get the rhythm of pogo-jumping (aka "pogo everywhere"). Ducktales 2 in particular can be brutal on some of the levels like the bonus castle/underground one.

Has Sony released a updated version of the controller that fixes the problem with wear on the thumbsticks? It's the only real issue that has kept me from purchasing a DS4.

Not sure, but there are anecdotes about different materials between different serial numbers.

Mine's a sexy magma red japanese import. Supposedly the japanese ones are better with stick issues

If you're worried just buy some covers

And thusly another RPG Maker game finds its way into my Steam to be played and conquered.

It's interesting that the game has pretty much only positive reviews.
Would not expect to see such from a low-tier RPG Maker, using RTP assets (I think) and with a story written by a non-native speaker.

I have a copy of Super Street Fighter® IV Arcade Edition
as a gift in my Steam inventory.

Since I am probably never going to play it
I will probably give it away.

What is the current situation with the games DRM and online multiplayer,
considering the shitdown of GFWL?

It's getting a steamworks patch this Friday but all dlc bought from the gfwl store will be lost (only matters to people that didnt originally buy the steam version and redeem their gfwl keys on steam).

So what if I have Scarlett Crush installed already?
I'm assuming I'd have to uninstall that and install DS4W to replace it? I'm also assuming DS4W doesn't work with DS3, right?

If someone redeems the GFWL code on Steam, what would be the case for the DLC? Would they still keep it?

After multiple attempts to get into W_D and going CTD, I'm kinda tempted to try Riddick. Got the Dark Athena, that has Butcher Bay inside it right? Anything special I have to do?

Finished Inescapable and after seeing the end I feel like I've been trolled.
The experience itself with the game wasn't too bad, although I've had a little bit of frustration with a section because a door wouldn't open even after lighting up every light, but the way this concludes leaves a sour taste.

Silly question but when exactly does E3 start? June 9th or June 10th? ...and at what time in PST or PDT?

June 10th, 12PM (I'm assuming it's PDT).

The conferences will be held on the 9th.

I realized that after I posted, the tiredness is probably a sign that I should go to bed. Times for the conferences for Tizoc and anyone else interested:

Monday June 9

Microsoft - 9:30 a.m. PDT
Electronic Arts - 12 noon PDT
Ubisoft - 3 p.m. PDT
Sony - 6 p.m. PDT
Tuesday, June 10

Nintendo - 9 a.m. PDT
