NA PS Store Flash Sale (Dark Souls 2, Tales of Graces f, South Park, FFX/X-2, more)

FFX on Vita needs to be $10 less for me to double dip, which sucks because I'd REALLY like to get it.

Mass Effect trilogy for $15 is super tempting.... even if I have 1/2 on PC and have barely played them.

Does Mass Effect 2 allow you to import Mass Effect 1 saves on PS3? Asking because ME1 was released later than ME2 on PS3 because of some Microsoft stuff.

If so, I'll definitely pick up that trilogy. So happy I didn't spend €20 on it on that PSN EU sale earlier, $15 is much nicer.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
I was at least expecting 19.99 for FFXHD :/
And I was expecting Nisekoi to have a plot. But we can't all get what we want now can we?
Honestly, it just came out. It'll drop price by years end and go on sale for $20 early next year.

Nisekoi does have a plot... or 4 or... 5 actually.

Just saw X/X2 HD on PS3 go down $10 to $30. If that's also the price of the Vita version, then I'll go back to waiting for the physical version to go down to about $20.

Not sure what to do? Mass Effect Trilogy at $15 is great but a nice physical copy dropped to $30 a few months ago. Most collections on PS3 will drop to $20 but I fear this one may not.

What do others think of the physical edition price dropping?

EDIT: Is Ni No Kuni a large enough game with side quests to warrant an additional digital purchase if I own it physically? How many hours is it to just beat and how many hours could you put in to do everything?

The games aren't large enough in time for me to benefit getting them digitally like Monster Hunter. I may just get a digital copy of Ni No Kuni and Demon Souls due to how much time I could put into them though I own physical copies.

I'll definitely pick up all the Mass Effect DLC though.

ATELIER ESCHA & LOGY IS $25. IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS WE CANNOT BE FRIENDS.

Toukiden for $20 might be good too, but I haven't even tried Soul Sacrifice or played very much Monster Hunter so I have no idea if I'll like it.

Dragon Age is now $5. Could have sworn it was more earlier. Hmm. Tempted but I already bought Kingdoms of Amalur.

Yeah, I played through the trilogy with no real import problems on PS3 (had to tweak Shepard's face on 3).

Oh god I'm glad I was home! I was about to buy Ni no Kuni and I checked my bookshelf to double check and there it was still in the plastic :lol

There are some good prices for that flash sale. I'm tempted to pick up the vita version of FFX/FFX-2 but then I need to hold out to E3 to see if they will bring the bigger memory card to NA or if I should import. I'm hoping they announce an even bigger card (128gb) and I'll just get that instead.

You don't need Plus for any of these, which is usually the problem with cross-region buying. Although you're screwed if you want any of the Vita games.

For PS3 just make an American PSN account and buy PSN credit for it online.

Dragon Age Origins $5? Damn. Any recommendations? Should I jump on it? Never played any Dragon Age games before, and Inquisition is coming up.

The PC version plays best, but if you don't have a PC to play it, the console version is still pretty fun.

Is it more of a traditional JRPG if you play as the dude? I've played previous Atelier games and while I thought they were decent, I've never really loved the whole alchemy aspect. It was just something I tolerated.

Also, any idea if Gust is planning on a Vita version? I may just wait if so.

I am interested in the series. Is this a good game to start with?
yes. it's a sequel to Ayesha but frankly the story's not that good that you'd want to catch up with

the alchemy system might throw you off but it's hella rewarding when you figure it out. figuring out optimum synthesizing lines is teh sex. same with making uber items and wrecking enemies; let dem damage numbers fly.

nice set of characters and the graphics are really clean. very good music too.

Wuuut? *Checks store* Well... that sucks. I wonder how cheap I can get the disk. I paid $7.50 on PC and I want to try it where there are people actually playing multiplayer.

Funnily enough the DLC is on there though LOL. Not sure what happened there (some contract stuff with Namco?).

Also might have to go to gamestop or something (Amazon has the PS3 disk for 17 bucks right now)

What are the chances of Toukiden being offered as a PS+ game within 3 months?

I asked this on a Vita forum a month or two back. The consensus was (and it was a pretty strong consensus), don't count on it. Apparently the developer has never been known to put their games on PS+.
