Now that I'm level 8 and I've done the raid three times, I'm not sure I want to play anymore. I'm too lazy to go find new areas in Free Roam, and I'll wait for the full game before playing PvP again. I don't like the idea of grinding for perfect Level 8 gear either. Guess I'm just gonna mess around in the Tower.
Anyway, I feel like I've finally put my PS4 to good use. That's how you build hype. Kojima should take notes and not make his demos playable

I had an absolute blast with this alpha. I cannot wait for more, and Bungie will get all of my monies for the uber duber edition of this game.
I did run into these issues, and I believe I posted it all on their forums:
-Had the game crash once on me. Did error report. No biggy.
-Had issue in PvP where I was in a vehicle capturing on the moon, and I captured the spot then both me and the vehicle disappeared, and I was respawned. I wasn't killed...no death to anything. Just vapor.
-Had an issue with one gun in alpha where it was an auto rifle that I held down R2 for and only the last 3-4 bullets it would stop firing. This forced me to release it, and redo. Thought it was my controller, but it was just 1 auto rifle.
- Had an issue with spawning once in PvP. It put me with an enemy right behind me twice in a row spawn wise. Odd. Only circumstance of it.
- LONG load screens. Fine tune. There should be no reason I go from a load screen with my fireteam floating in the sky, to another load screen above the planet flying. I don't care... trim it down somehow.
- Warlock sucks. Titan and Hunter do work in PvP, but Warlock needs some kind of buffs. The grenade damage needs to be higher, the glide needs to be more "zippier" and the special charge needs to come out faster.
- Titan and Hunter are perfect the way they are. Do not change a thing.
-Stats from Scopes are pointless. I found upgrading my guns I'd much rather have a nicer smaller red dot scope than +stats for a crappier looking scope. They should remove this, or allow some kind of "custom" work to use whichever scope I want but retain the stats of a previous one. Or rework it that the final scopes unlocked are the most used ones in FPS' which is small red dots.
-WHOEVER THE PVP/MP ANNOUNCER IS PLEASE REDO IT. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THIS IS BAD. HE DOESN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE MY DOUBLE KILLS OR KILLING SPREES??!??! ID GLADLY PAY 10 DOLLARS FOR DLC TO GET THE HALO ANNOUNCER VOICE IN THIS.
- The Mini map/radar is god awful. In PvP MP it should be a little more accurate on enemy positioning when it comes to vertical movement.
- Give me the option to launch story/free roam right away with just 1-2 players. No sense in waiting for a third...drop them in later if I want a random.

My last thing to talk about is Grimoire. It never explains what it is, but as far as I can tell it is basically the "story" and "compendium" for this game and its components in an online format. This is the laziest shit I've ever seen. If you can't incorporate into your actual game, then forget about it. Too little of players are going to log into Bungie.net to go read where these enemies came from and get their descriptions. OR somehow find a way to have a "compendium" menu option to open up all the grimoire stuff from in game to look at. Dissecting your games lore into your online website because you couldn't find a way to encompass it seems just borderline idiotic.
Even with all of these hopeful fixes, and the jab over the Grimoire, I can't stress enough how much this little teaser has lived up to the hype I had for this game. I am there day one, and I wish I could freeze myself Eric Cartman style for this.
Oh, and a final thought:
PLEASE LET BETA IN JULY CHARACTERS/STATS CARRY OVER TO RETAIL!

No kidding I'm feeling the exact same. Bungie was extremely smart releasing this right now, the hype is building very quickly after what seemed like confusion. This game is so awesome, I think it will be the next big thing. Sony did a good job partnering with Destiny ("ps4 is best place to play" exclusive content etc) this kicks the crap out of CoD and Titanfall imo (played on pc)

It's inside on of those giant rusted water ships.
You can't with the default ones we have in the Alpha. You can from the ones in the Crucible though. (PvP area)
Someone posted a video of some fallen driving ones with guns and if you kill them you can take their Pikes. Never saw that myself though.

Thanks, just had a couple of games in the crucible and those things are so OP, need a big nerf or even better the guns removing. Don't see the point of balancing between players if those things can be brought into the game.
17th July for PS players since they get the beta 4 days earlier and 21st July for Xbox players

You can't; at least, you only do insignificant "1, 1, 1, 1" damage. You'll have to be at a level much higher than the cap to tangle with them. A lot of those "???" enemies are lvl. 20.
