you can get it on torrent sites. in 720p. Just sayin'!

It's basically just a mega trailer anyway, I wouldn't have any qualms about downloading it from a tracker.

Here is another one. The ending cuts off though.

Thanks!

These things can be so cringe worthy. Anyway, still liking what I'm seeing. I think it's gonna be a good time for TMNT fans. Megan Fox is seemingly still the worst element of the movie.

I saw a trailer for this on TV for the first time a couple of days ago, and I couldn't get over how fake everything looked. I just can't buy into a movie that looks half live action and half computer graphics demo.

At least it looks better than Dawn of the Planet of the Apes!

You're one of the first I've read to say the CG is terrible and some of the worst it years…if anything, it's some of the best in years.

For a film of this magnitude? Yeah, probably.

The look of the film during the night sequences, and the arrangement of the climax of the film were spectacular. During the daytime? Took me out of the film far more than it should have.

Yeah, still not feeling this based on the CG turtles. :-/ And it's Michael Bay, so I pretty much know what to expect.

Also, who cares about an obviously CG chase scene?

Saw the toy line at Walmart, WANT. As predicted they're very decent figures design wise. Hell I think they look good.
Funny, I still hate the designs - even if the movie is looking decent honestly - and wanted to hurl when I saw them; The nick ones (and throwbacks a few years ago) are better.
No offense;To each their own.

Is Johnny Knoxville actually involved in this movie? He wasn't in the short Behind-the-Scenes feature from Nickelodeon, and the mo-cap guy they did have sounded exactly like Leo did in the trailers we've had so far.

Yes. It's likely a majority of that footage was filmed before they brought him on to read lines, or he was unavailable/not doing promotional segments.

He came on only recently and replaced the voice actor for Leo. He wasn't involved with any other production.

So on the Shredder vs. Sachs vs. Col. Schrader discussion...

SuperHeroHype said:
“William Fichtner isn’t Shredder,” Liebesman teases. “[Fichtner] is Eric Sachs. Shredder is played by another actor. He’s not all CG. You see him without his armor on. When he’s in the armor, there’s an actor, but he’s been augmented. Like in ‘Iron Man,’ it’s CGI.”

And then I just got the Visual History of the TMNT book...

Visual History Book said:
"Keeping with the classic Turtles vibe, it was announced that the Shredder would be returning this time played by veteran character actor William Fichtner...The man behind the mask is Eric Sachs, which many TMNT fans may interpret as a westernized version of the character's original name, 'Oroku Saki'."

So who knows what's going on?

Eric Sachs definitely sounds like a reverse-japanization of Oroku Saki. I think the correct japanization would be Eriku Sakisu, or something like that. I'm sure someone could correct me.

As I said, my theory is that the japanese dude to whom Fichtner is talking in the trailer is Oroku Saki, who will don the armor and be the original Shredder. He will be killed at the end of the film (or mid-way) and Eric Sachs will be revealed to be the puppetmaster behind him. Basically, Shredder will be a symbol à la Batman. Whoever wants to be Shredder can be, and Eric Sachs will don the armor himself.

This movie...

Designs are still awful but, it's not that they've grown on me but I've gotten over the shock.

Now they're playing on my nostalgia

Damn this sure to be awful movie, they have my money the first weekend and they know it.

Supersonic, idiotic, disconnecting, not respecting, who would really ever wanna go and top that
I was watching that special again.

did Michelangelo just fucking say we can have adult conversations?

Haha yeah, I thought the line was pretty funny. This movie is winning me over the more I see of it.

Don't think there is any reality or dimension in which I would say that the designs in the older movies are better than these. Those were cool for being physical costumes but that's about it; they look ridiculous too.

I mentioned in the previous thread agreeing with this point as it mirrors the mythology from the 2003 cartoon, which was written by Peter Laird as well, where you had multiple incarnations of "The Shredder"

The original tengu demon Shredder from ancient Japan
The alien Utrom Ch'rell
Karai

So yeah, I'm pretty sure that Fichtner in some way will be "The Shredder"
So who's guessing that Raphael will probably be the main focus of the movie?
The bigger question is. Will April fuck Ralph???

That guy hopefully will do a parody of this movie. But F Youtube for being dicks about taking his stuff down on shit copyright claims. He had to turn to WSHH of all places to upload them now.
