Sad they didn't confirm season 10. I'd rather the series just keep going rather than a movie.

Because we all know how a 24 movie turned out...

That first scene between Terri and Kim at the safehouse sums up those two characters perfectly. Terri finds out she's pregnant. Kim gets pissed off at her mom for trying to have a baby without telling her. Terri tearfully tells Kim to consider others once in a while and to be there for her. Kim feels like shit and tries to apologize. Terri shuts the door in Kim's face. That Jack didn't shoot himself in the head, off screen, before S1 is amazing.

Also Kim blowing up Rick's phone was hilarious. He hit her with the, "You probably shouldn't call here, atleast not for a while." And of course she asks how long. Litlle does he know... Poor Rick, getting swept up in that Kim chaos vortex. He didn't make it out unscathed, no one does, but his day ended better than Miguel and Chase's.

Ah, no big confirmation? Well, we can play the waiting game, Jack can stick around getting tortured in Russia for as long as it takes.

Going by the newest interviews, it looks like S10 is completely up to the 24 execs (incl Sutherland)

Fox wants it. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

Well, Kiefer's had a drinking "problem" for years now. Every once in awhile, tmz will catch him leaving a bar, snookered up. But seems to have multiple chaperon's to make sure he gets to where he needs to go (i.e. not behind the wheel)

not gonna lie, i wasnt feeling this season at all really up until Lady Stark made her literal exit (lmao).

Then the just show just sort of became unhinged and awesome! Ended up totally into by the end. Still think bringing back Chloe was fucking stupid.
Also helped that the supporting cast was some of the best the series has ever had IE Michael Wincott and Yvone S.
it was almost as if they had accidentally wandered onto the set and just started shooting scenes, lol

Kiefer Sutherland comes off as a really nice, sincere person judging from the late night appearances. Yes, he had a drinking problem, and would go wild, but other than freddys word, has there been any other actors that have said the same thing?

The actress who played Dina Araz complained about being hard to work with Kiefer and that he was always angry or something lol

IMDB says 5'9. I sincerely doubt Kiefer is 5'4", that's shorter than me (I'm a girl), even with camera tricks everyone in 24 would be towering over him. I think Prinze is just being a dick.

I mean LOL he doesn't even elaborate on why Kiefer was "unprofessional", the only anecdote he brings up is having to take off his shoes? HAHAHA poor baby.

Yeah, pretty much. It's possible Sutherland is hard to work with, mind you, but when all you have to say is talk trash about heights, that says more about you than it says anything about him. xD

Jack Bauer is an angry role, so damn Kiefer for not being able to completely get out of character while filming!

Kiefer's problems are fairly well documented; he's volatile, difficult to work with, if he doesn't get on with you it causes big problems, intense, etcetera. It's what makes him good as Jack, but it's also the reason his movie career stalled out prior to 24 and why he's struggled to get non-24 projects off the ground.

Yeah, pretty much. It's possible Sutherland is hard to work with, mind you, but when all you have to say is talk trash about heights, that says more about you than it says anything about him. xD

Here's what Dina Araz's actress said about working with Kiefer circa Series 4:

"I'm afraid working with him proved to be hard. That young man was pretty angry. At the end of the day, I thought he was angry with himself."

She also said she thinks he used his exec producer credit to get the plot changed to kill Dina off earlier than was planned, as she said the plot was changed to killing her out of nowhere.

Firmly believe it's a little from column A and a little from column B. Kiefer is clearly a very troubled dude with a difficult past; he admits that.

Yeah, don't doubt that Kiefer's able to get super intense and probably somewhat dickish sometimes. Don't know if that warrants an insult of his height and professionalism. Clearly if he was a massively unprofessional person they wouldn't have renewed the show for a limited run or have made it through 8 seasons/194 hours worth of programming.


Also, does anyone else find it entertaining that 24 is what caused Freddie Prinze Jr. to want to quit acting and not, you know, getting roles like Delgo?

4. Numerous references throughout the season about the strain of the day, the long hours, and how it was taking its toll on everyone. Keith Palmer made a particuarly good reference of this at one point.

5. Travelling took time. The journey from where he was holding the waitress hostage to the point where Bauer got to Ted Cofell's office took an entire episode. It was realistic. LA traffic was taken into account.

6. After Bauer rescued Teri and Kim, he had a microwaveable meal in ep 13. The Drazens had dinner at dinnertime. Palmer's primary celebration took place at the correct time of day.

etc etc. I could go on. S2 onwards is when the real time aspect went a bit out of the window.
