I never would have expected games like Senran Kagura and Akiba's Trip to get localized, but this game features schoolgirls shooting each other up and lobbying grenades at each other inside a school. Not sure if that would fly here.

I kinda doubt XSEED or anyone else will be able to license this if D3 Publisher doesn't localize it themselves, since they're a division of Namco Bandai and they're not really known for licensing their properties out.
Well they themselvs said that they wouldn't localize anymore games based purely on fanservice.

Well it wasn't really Senran Kagura...
I don't think it's really that controversial. It's just the same vocal minority that always has a problem with games like these and keeps feeling the need to let everyone know. Most people who aren't interested either don't care, or are unaware the games even exist because they're so niche.

Man, I have been desensitized to this kind of content for so long, that reactionary posts to these things usually just amuse me. Part of me wonders how some of these people would react to the kind of content one can frequently run across on Pixiv or any of the Booru sites, etc... These kinds of games are really tame and inoffensive and not worth being upset about. To a certain degree they can be considered a little tacky and cheesy, but so are a lot of things. I'm mostly offended that we still have these outrageous breast jiggle physics.
I wuold like to think that character underdevelopment wouldn't be a major draw.
Maybe they'll all be highschool seniors.
Considering how few people have the game, you aren't going to get a lot of discussion on that topic either, regardless of the games content. All there is to go off of so far is a couple streams and youtube videos.
Outside of the subject matter, if it is anywhere near as fun as SV that would be great. Judging from the AI in the videos though, doesn't look too promising.
It is a great responsibility, Ponpo. One that cannot be taken lightly.

They said they wouldn't localize any game based purely on fanservice. If a good game happens to have fanservice (like Senran Kagura or Akiba's Trip), that's a different story.
