This picture led to this - which some people are taking to mean Ridley/Mach rider, etc are in the game.

There was a leak that matches up with this info (only the quoted part should be taken seriously) back in july - basically says that this video is from an old (likely feature-complete) build and may have been circulating since back in july.

Old palutena leak was revealed to be fake - more

People think this may be chorus kids leak - turns out to be fake

The thing that screams fake to me is that there is a P1 and P4.

So did his/her buddy just randomly bring their ESRB copy of the game and they're both yukking it up with Chorus Men as CPU characters running about?!?!?!?

It's pretty clear to us there's more of the video we didn't get to see. At the end of the Shulk victory screen you can see the footage about to show Yoshi in HRC before the youtube video suddenly ends.

We haven't seen everything in this ESRB reel. Who knows how much is in it that we haven't seen.

Here's the link to it. (I don't know why people are quoting the other image, when that links back to Smashboards.)

From what I can tell, that speculation is from 4chan or some other board, and may not actually be related to the leak. If you look at that thread, information under "FACTS" is stuff we have reason to believe. Under "SPECULATION" is just guessing, but it fits with the others so it's included for whatever reason.

Maybe there's more to it that I'm not seeing.

Wait if this is from the final ESRB video, why would there be characters missing from the roster? Wouldn't it be final to show all of the game's elements? Especially if the video actually contained trophy shots of Tharja's ass and whatnot.

Locked All-star mode or no, I'm staring to believe that was the final roster. They could have just shown unrelated, different footage of the menus and characters.

The Sneaky Spirit and Polar Bear in Smash Run still seem really strange. Every other enemy comes from a franchise that has either a character or stage--so far in this leak, Ice Climber and Rhythm Heaven have neither.

If the characters aren't objectionable and won't affect the ratings, they don't have to show them. Obviously characters like Ice Climbers, Chorus Kids and Lucas wouldn't affect the rating of the game at all, and they may not have been entirely done back in April/May when this video was being put together.

That and where's ZSS's skin revealing costumes. Chances are they continued to work on this post ESRB rating.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. But then, why would the Ice Climbers be unlockable now?

Well at least the leaked videos being pulled by NoA confirms it as fact.


I think Lucina or Bowser Jr. are my favorite newcomers followed by Duck Hunt Dog.

Ice Climbers aren't like Mewtwo and Pichu. Given them a trophy, or just a nod in Smash Run would cause more pain than had IC not been mentioned at all.

There's not a single enemy in Smash Run without a playable character. You don't even have to include stages, it's literally only series represented with characters.

At first I didn't take the rating thing seriously (It meant no Snake) but now I'm all in if that means we get those...

But wouldn't Ridley be there for the rating? And Mach Rider?
