I legit loved Thunder in Paradise as a kid.

Hulk Hogan + boat totally appealed to me at the time. Also I recall having a crush on his daughter in the show too. Ah to be young & carefree.

I remember when interactive movies were going to be the next big thing. I saw something on TV about how theaters would one day poll the audience for what the character should do next. Come to think of it, The Walking Dead is actually the realization of that dream but actually done well.

It's strange to think about, but there was a moment in the 90s when people actually thought this was the future. Like, serious publications predicted it etc.

Oh my god, if I'd have gotten my hands on this game as a 10 year old, I would have thought it was the best thing ever.

I was obsessed with the whole tv show/game thing. Probably due to watching too much Knightmare.

I remember seeing video mockups of what the system would look like. Every seat would have a keypad installed! It would be like having a phone at your seat in a movie theater. Could you even imagine?

On an unrelated note, can we all agree that the Zelda CD-i games are what inspired Squidbillies and other Adult Swim animation?

Huh, chat just vanished while I was watching from about 20 minutes behind. Now I don't know if Hulk Hogan saved the day.

To bad Jeff only has really shitty cd-i games, except for Burn:Cycle and Inca... Not to say there are really great games, but there are enjoyable ones: Lost Eden, Secret Mission, Christmas Country, The Apprentice, Lucky Luke: The Video game.

Everyone always covers the bad sidescrolling Zelda games with the animation.

Nobody ever covers the third top-down one with the Diablo style graphics.

Guys the CD-i was a real piece of shit. I remember a school friend who had one and he told me he had that Zelda game so I had to visit him and check it out. It was the first Zelda game they play ed today on the stream. After like 15 to 30 minutes I never wanted to play that piece of shit again.

...there were three??

Zelda's Adventure was the third one and had live action cutscenes

I might be wrong on this, but I think its practically unwinnable due to the large amount of stuff in the game that was cut/unfinished but the game still expects or something

The only way to win any of the CD-I Zelda games is to not play them.

That is an insult to Diablo man. Also it had FMV cutscenes.

i'll be honest: i think of it as Diablo almost entirely because "Ganon" appears at the end as a rejected Diablo or Doom villain, like literally just a generic demon model that they photographed and digitized

EDIT:

behold, "ganon"

I have never seen that much of this game. Sounds truly awful, but in a way that would probably e fun to watch the GB crew play.
