Fresh from the famitsu leaker. It will be on PS Vita and three home console systems. More information and pictures regarding this should start surfacing in the next 48 hours.

Edit;
It has just been released on the famitsu website.

Online only game on PSV, PC, IOS.

World's End Eclipse

- Online "theatrical RPG"
- PC, Smartphones, Vita
- Launching this Winter
- F2P with microtransactions

Producer: Shinji Motoyama
Art Director: Daisuke Tabayashi
Main Character Design: Katsumi Enami
Music Production: Hitoshi Sakimoto

The game seems to be some sort of simplified RTS-ish thing where you build, explore, and fight. Battles are mostly automated apparently, and there's a fast-forward and pause button. Lolz.

I don't know what it is but I am going to start getting hype.

PS3, PS4, Wii U? Will Sega bother with a JRPG on Microsoft's console? With the Wii U they can at least go after the audience Xenoblade Chronicles X and Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem will bring in.

People shouldn't be too quick to cry after a sequel. After all there's always a chance for an improvement. Best way to go after that improvement is a clean slate. That is all.

I'm assuming there is no Wii U version, since otherwise 3ds version would also be in the work.

And what the hell is theatrical RPG?

Kinda hard not be excited here, and it being on 4 consoles hopefully means that it'll have a better chance at a localization.

Well my interest is piqued, but without all the platforms listed and more importantly any info on if it will be localized it's too early for me to feel anything about this news.

For some reason when I read theatrical RPG I thought they were going to make a game that doubled as a musical where all the lines of dialogue are done through song.

remember guys, the last RPG Sega threw production values at was Hero Bank. We all love playing our localized copies of that, right?

Shin Megami what? I'd believe it exists when I see real footage. And imo they should release a traditional mainline FE title before going with a cross over spin off too. But that's another story.

Aren't Shining games from Sega?
I do love playing the five different localizations they've made for the latest games. They're on my shelf between Yakuza 5 and Vesperia Ps3.

I want to believe... But I can't.

Because if I believe and it's not, it will destroy me. T_T
Believe!
Sega is reopening the themed cafes, making new merchandise, etc!
I wish ;_;

On another note, I'd believe the 3rd console is more likely to be wiiu than x1.

yo seeing as how valkyria chronicles seems like it is being abandoned...i really hope some other people take a look at their gameplay system because its fucking amazing. somebody ought to iterate on what they have done.
