I always check post history before I reply to something dumb.
Somebody else responded to him with a post he made about The Evil Within so it looks like his post history is ripe with this stuff.

Didn't Ubi claim some bullshit about resolution being CPU bound?Depends why the framerate's slow. Given the large numbers of NPCs, that could be the cause, and that might be a CPU hit rather than a GPU one.
Vertical slices are a wonderful thing, aren't they?wow......any hill and the NPCs dissapear into it...this is fantastic ubisoft
why did none of this shit show up on the streams i saw pre release
How about you wait for the reviews before deciding the game is garbage?
Seriously, it's like most people here actually want this game (and any Ubisoft game it seems) to crash and burn.
lol then why don´t you just enjoy The Evil Within on PC..?

I really don't think it does. Following the PC performance thread and its pretty damn harrowing for most people to run without a good setup. Yes, a 750Ti might be able to run the game at 1080p/30fps after turning down a bunch of settings, but that doesn't mean its running *better* necessarily, if the console versions are using higher quality setting equivalents. The PC version runs better than the PS4 on cards like the 750Ti. That is not "pretty fucking bad" at all.
Are you seriously comparing some pop in with CTD's?

Yet I keep seeing posts like this.

Which you kind of expect to perform a bit better than that?
Um it's called a opinion? Why should he change it because of some randoms review?
Pop in, clipping, teleporting... NPCs in this game can do it all. Watch the guy on the left at the start.
Every time something like this happens I lose faith in this industry and the hobby in general. I'm glad I didn't support Watch Dogs and definitely won't support this, it's appaling.

Good lord the LOD is awful. Women keep switching dresses when they are like 10 feet from you.Pop in, clipping, teleporting... NPCs in this game can do it all. Watch the guy on the left at the start.

did you read the the headline here..?
Thread: Assassins Creed: Unity Framerate Is Atrocious
framerate..
and if you read the thread.. framerate, glitches, pop in etc.

What an unexpected twist. People were afraid that the PC version would run badly but in the end it's the console versions that suffer from severe issues. Maybe Ubisoft was overambitious with the level of detail?
Did Ubisoft even said something about this?
Like "wait for d1 patch" or "we're working to fix it"?
Not really. Some Nvidia specific high end settings are extremely taxing to the framerate. You can turn those of and get much better performance.
That asking for too muchI really hope reviewers go into this.

I'm all for having opinions, as long as they are informed opinions. And right now there is absolutely not enough informations about this game to decide without any doubt that it's "garbage".
This game is way to demanding for current consoles. I wonder if the specs for consoles had been expected (or promised from Sony/MS) to be much better when development began.
You just love all this don't you, lol.

Oh dear, I feel really sorry for people with decent gaming rigs who were scared into going with the console version. They got royally screwed over.
No it's just poor optimization. See every ubisoft games ever. Look at watchdogs, every other ass creed games, etcThis game is way to demanding for current consoles. I wonder if the specs for consoles had been expected (or promised from Sony/MS) to be much better when development began.
The premises do not seem encouraging though... The "garbage" statement was based on customer feedbacks so probably on a retail version. If the review copy provides stable framerate that would be an interesting turn of events but, somehow, I'm not optimistic. The game does tick the bad boxes in my book when AC4 was just fine for my tastes. I'll remain open though.I'm all for having opinions, as long as they are informed opinions. Well fuck it. I was actually pumped for this game, but I am going to pass.
Too many good games out now to be playing through a technical ugly mess.
First time I was going to by an AC game launch day since ACII. What a disappointment.
Wonder how it plays on Xbone.
