MSI, but this seems universal. Most likely a driver issue instead of HW. Wasteland 2 also ran butter smooth.

Not sure if it'll help, but there's a tool called New Vegas Anti Crash on Nexus Mods. You might try that.

I'm getting close to only buying Ubi games on consoles (used physical copies) going forward. Tired of all the forced uPlay stuff. On consoles its still there, but feels way less intrusive.
When your own shitty DRM is preventing your customers from buying your own shitty IAPs, you know you have a problem

Not sure - the first DF is a DOS game, right? It should run in DosBox, but Jedi Knight was a Windows 95 game and I think I've read it's a nightmare to run on modern OS. Hopefully one day it will get a remaster.

almost non-existant as far as I know, but I dont "do" pvp (in any game) so I dont pay much attention

Morning GAF. I feel tired and miserable.
Gonna call my friend and ask him if he's free to watch The Hobbit today or tomorrow.
Also Far Cry 4's gunplay/combat is annoying, and gyrocopters need to be in EVERY outpost I take over.
Oh and I have a question about Big Picture Mode;
Does it affect the FPS of the game you're playing on an HDTV? I played Wolf Among us at my friend's HDTV and it capped at 50 FPS, when I swear it ran 60 FPS on my laptop when I played it during the summer.
Gonna call my friend and ask him if he's free to watch The Hobbit today or tomorrow.

The only similar issue I've had was with Shadow of Mordor, and it seemed to be due to running the game at above 1080p.
Switching it back down to 1080p cleared it up, though.
EDIT: And, yes, the game ran at above 60 frames per second above 1080p while not streaming.
Perhaps it has to do with his display? Sounds weird to be locked at 50 because that doesn't sound like you're getting performance drop.

Wow, Continuum Shift Extend is launching at $30? That's at least $15 more than I suspected for such a LTTP port.

Yes, its for DOS (like Strife), but i mean enhanced port with widescreen support, additional effects and so on.

I had this happen a few updates ago I believe and I had to uninstall some audio drivers or something that Nvidia updates installed.

Correct -- as long as it's gifted to you, there are no restrictions.
If someone owns BBCT, it's an additional 10% off for 20% total, which is why I see it at $8.20.
