Anybody tried to play Elegy for a Dead World yet? I'm not sure... I mean it seems like a lot of work, but concept is interesting enough and it looks nice. I think we never had Writing the game before, had we?

One would think that after going this path a dev would want to make some extra money and add cards, granted they maybe will make several thousands euros, but considering it's for 2 days work at most, one would think they'd jump on that at once. Do they? nope!

Nah, they crave money, just too dumb to figure things out.
what's to figure out? You can see how much revenue is made from which region by simply moogling, and what's even more important, with digital distribution, why would you lock your game from any region? even small money still are money and not like you have to spend anything to do that.

They either forgot or signed some stupid ass contracts with someone(usually local publishers/retailers) so they couldn't publish their work.

Yeah, it's super slow...

I'm sorta afraid that FF13 resolution patch will break a game, I had no problems with it so far at all, if we disregard that fps aren't stable, still it never dropped for me so low to be a nuisance and lack of res and sound options, still the game runs like a hot knife through the butter for me, no freezes, crashes, serious slowdowns, nothing.
edited: I wish I finished it before today, but playing second time it's way harder to keep interest in a game.
that's still better than no options! also I'm kinda curious how no graphics look (><)
edited: on the more serious note, sound options would be nice too, also I noticed nobody seem to care about lack of those but me

The good thing about this option is that you get 300fps min guaranteed.
as it's not available in EU, I'll wait till it's dirty cheap to get me some gift, if it's giftable, that is.

It did say 'completed' as well but had an additional line saying ' refunded'. In the last hour or so that's changed to a big red 'canceled'.

Sure, but I was planning to wait until it dropped so I could see how the game ran, as well as seeing how good the FFXIII patch was.
However, weakness crept in and I bought it anyway.

Yeah I have canceled now also. I did send a complaint to the Swedish Consumer Agency, not that I really care about the game but more so that they might actually start figuring about the laws and rules about stuff like that.

First of all, are the characters THAT young? And secondly, isn't that still kind of illegal, even though they're drawn? I'm not sure on that second point, but it still makes one a bit uncomfortable.

not available for me, its hoswing up on the main page of the client tho, I click it and it says not available n my region
anyway, not to jinx it guys, but at least to me, Final Fantasy XIII is running pretty much as I expected a actual proper port to run
1080p, 16X MSAA, shadow resolution at 4096X4096 (I havent tried at 8192x8192 yes), pretty much 60fps
some dipping into the 55s, 57s etc, but any game does that. I only played the first 15mins or so, with the train bit and the first boss up to the save point. I still need to mess with my SLI settings, theres no official profile
patch seems good to me, but then again, I didnt try it pre patch so /shrug
I forgot how pretty the game is too
