NA PSN Holiday Sale Week 3 (Hotline Miami, Metro Redux, Child of Light, Duck Dynasty)

Why is Don't Starve listed twice? I've been actually waiting for it to be on sale to get it for my PS4 but the Vita version is the only one available? :(

Gonna grab for sure Child of Light PS4 and Dynasty Warrior: Gundam Reborn. For the rest, I'll need to check.

The Metro games are amazing if you're looking for an atmospheric story driven FPS series. If you liked Wolfenstein this year you'll love Metro.

my F5 is taking a beating. Come on Sony.

I guess i could wait until tonight as there is an entire week but what fun would that be.

Is there a bundle price for both Metro Redux games?

I was wondering the same thing. I also checked the website of one of my local electronic retailers and I can get the bundled disc for the same price as buying them both digitally, so apart from the convenience of not having to use a disc, not sure why I would buy them on PSN.

Terraria is so cheap. How are more people not excited about that?

If you haven't played it before, shell out the $4.50, ya dingus.

I dunno, the vita version keeps having save errors for me. Lost my whole world multiple times and got put off on the whole thing.

Not actually sure how the Vita version turned out, but the PS4 version looks lovely + remote play.

Huh that's an good point. Going on vacation over Christmas though and it might be nice to have it on the vita without needing an internet connection. Think I'm going to try out the vita version then. Thanks for the input though. Too bad it's not at least cross-save :(

Might've bought both version then

Seriously considering Flower for the Vita. Never played it before and it's not the type of game I'd usually be interested in. But I figure for the price, why not expand my gaming tastes?

Ugh PS Vita version of child of light's pricing is a mess right now

First time I've ever seen 3 separate prices on PSN

Just realized $8.99 is the non-PS Plus members sale price

so I'm in for Child of Light, Flower, and at least one of the Metro games. Are they both worth playing or should I just go for the most recent one?

I found these comments funny on the blog post.

Terrible. 3rd “holiday sale” week and I see nothing appetizing, just like the 2 previous weeks. Seriously Sony, you’re a-swinging and a-missing.
How about a DeathSpank trilogy sale to come out of the slump, huh?

Just a couple things. I been a PS4 owner for 2 weeks and it’s sad that after downloading the companion app to my phone I have to log in twice just to comment. Also as a 6 year owner of a PS3 and after spending hundreds of dollars on PSN games it’s sad only a few titles I have been able to redownload for free. I understand the backwards compatibility thing but when its a PSN game available for all sony platforms its kinda fd up I can’t redownload them again. I was able to with Flower and Hotline Miami but I kinda want my Terraria. I should be able to redownload it especially since I already paid for it. Kinda bs. I mean how hard up for cash are the developers? What happened to Sony’s 5 device thing? Shouldn’t my PS4 count as another Sony device? You’re kinda jerking us around. Can’t wait until Ultra SF4 drops. Ya know, after spending $60 on SF4 and then another $30 in upgrade patches. Remember when PS+ had like 12 monthly games?

Are PS never happy?

I love Flower (100%ed it) but I honestly didn't enjoy it that much on Vita. The controls seemed to work far better on a dualshock 4. And the game is even more gorgeous on a TV

Completely disagree. What made Wolfenstein awesome was the absolutely fantastic gunplay. Metro has terrible, terrible gunplay. They all sound like peashooters and there's no sense of impact at all.

I'd suggest anyone considering it to watch some videos first.

Bs. The stealth and atmosphere alone make metro better then wolfenstein. Metro is more a survival and stealth fps. Gunplay was fine.

Definitely, Flower is made to be played on a controller with a big TV, Vita version to me just wasn't doing it for a game that I really loved on PS3

I really enjoyed the bare-bones version of DCU and got pretty far, but I haven't touched it in months. Is the Ultimate Edition worth the $12 if I enjoyed the bare-bones version? Does it add a lot for me to go back and play with a new character?
