Your Grand Theft Auto VI Wishlist

I want a futuristic GTA set in like the Wipeout universe. Instead of cars, they're lightning fast hovercrafts. Of course, jacking a hovercraft would require insane skill. Also, you're equipped with jetpacks.

Maybe I just want a new Wipeout. Hm.

Return to Vice City, timeline should be set between San Andreas and GTA3. That way we can have Catalina be the main character and Claude can be one of the guys she gets missions from.

Seasons! Don't really know how they would implement this, but I'd love to see more diverse weather effects.
Better shooting controls.
Female MC.

This, seasons would be so sweet in a GTA game, give an even more changing and dynamic look to everything.

GTA: San Fierro, includes all of the Bay Area, Downtown SF, Oakland, San Jose, Alemeda, Santa Clara and Napa.

- Gender choice, both genders voiced by different VA's.
- Dating sim and eventual marriage and having children.
- Building stuff, houses, apartments, hotels, skyscrapers and even highways
- Furnish the home just like Animal Crossing or Sims
- Lenghty single player campaign which at some point involve fighting with renegade American army to add extra challenge. I loved Trevor's rampage sections.
- Ability to recruit civilians as henchmen.
- Ability to use spacecraft like Virgin space aircraft.
- More postgame stuff. How about becoming mayor or DA and completely clean up the state?

lol

GTA VI, the first ever billion-dollar game

That is annoying, though.

What's so annoying about it? It makes sense in-game and it only takes like 20-30 seconds total. I don't see the need for instant gratification here when there's already a sensible way to fast travel and when the map doesn't take too long to traverse in general.

Destructible environments, with long term consequences.
60s or 70s time frame (moon launch back drop would be cool)
Side business stuff like in Vice City Stories.

Location Washington DC, MC 'work's' for a Frank Underwood type character.

- Serial killers and more cults - Have radio channels bring up news stories about murders happening in Liberty City. This could extend the play time because they would happen over time (make use of that radio). Each story would have a unique look to it and possibly cutscenes or just have bounties. Truck stops with murderers and so forth. Outlaws making camp somewhere in the wild.
- Leafs, trees, and sticks stay on the road
- Road construction jobs that gives each street new asphalt

Some wiggle room for slightly more crazy shenanigans. Like cars that don't just immediately explode when falling too far, making huge dumb jumps is super fun! I hate that it doesn't let you do that!

A female main character.

A slightly easier way to earn cash (easy to miss out on cash in 5 if you don't play the stock market).

An 'open-narrative' system sort of thing, like what Shadow of Mordor has.

Seasons or at least a map large enough to have a mix of weather. Imagine skiing down Mt. Chiliad.
Then there's that whole racetrack in GTA V but no horses. Wasted opportunity.
Female protagonist. They can name her Trisha.

I don't think that's the reason the three main characters don't have arcs.

OK interesting....If you elaborated...?

Franklin + Michael relationship felt so rushed and force (I even gave them similar beard type to make them 'feel connected', didn't work, it was just a shite story) as did the drama between Micheal and Trevor. Flashback missions were nice in theory but I only ended up enjoying them because of the snow rather than any impact on story (or the missions themselves, graveyard flashback mission was annoying as shit with waves after waves of enemies bumming you).

That's why I don't want 3 characters. Hope it was just an experiment and can only hope Rockstar agrees it's not worth making it part of the series. It honestly felt like a desperate gimmick since it was announced and ended up being one. Hope Rockstar has more fuel for VI.

I don't know why, but I was hearing ambulances at the top of a skyscraper as if they were a floor below. Kinda broke the immersion for me. So maybe better audio? Perhaps police who don't immediately know you shot someone in the middle of a desert?

More interactivity -
More buildings should be open to go inside such as malls, restaurants, casinos, etc. Trains, gyms, fair rides, should all be interactive. Setting should be more like the original San Andreas in that world has multiple city locations set over a state, possibly something Florida like as that would make an interesting wilderness to explore. Npcs should have more to do that just fight and run from the player( drug dealing, gang inviting, pick pocketing, etc.)

based anywhere not USA

italian-job-movie-opening-2003-getty-580.jpg

Like something out of the Italian Job?

Liberty City is always somewhere in the USA, right? That might not work. It would be interesting if they did do a city in Europe. I'd love to see that.

That would be cool. If you took a chunk out of the side of a building with some C4 or something, the cops could show up followed by construction workers to fix it back up again, so buildings could respawn like new.

- Katana decapitations
- I would also like a smaller map, but as a result more interiors to go into
- A more cartoony art-style?
- Female protag would be cool

-Female MC/MCs
-A new city or region
-Missions in different countries (Fast travel optional)
-Gang turf takeover
-Customizable radio soundtracks
-Better targeting reticle
-Finishing moves for melee

GTA VIce is all we really need. they could really flesh out Miami like they did Los Santos. As a Miami Native, it was nice to see the representation, but it would be a little closer

I'd argue that it's because they're already fully established characters with their own motivations by the time the game starts. They were already fully set in their criminal ways. Which is obviously different from a character like Niko who'd come to the country specifically to get away from those ways. That's why the first few missions in GTAIV really don't even involve any type of crime.

Franklin and Michael's relationship isn't too shocking when you consider that they both give each other what they've been wanting. Franklin has been wanting a way to move up the crime ladder and Michael seems like the type of guy that could help him do that. And Michael has been looking for motivation to finally get back into his old ways instead of just hanging around that mansion all day.

More places to go in. Bars, more strip clubs, wildlife, horses. Not interested in a female protagonist just for political correctness.

If it's not Vice City, you can quote me on this ; I'm killing myself. I'm tired of waiting for my favourite city to be remade and I don't think I can handle the heartbreak anymore. I've been fucked over my ex fiance, I've been fucked over many times before, and now I am being fucked by rockstar. I don't even really care about video games anymore because all I want is Vice City. I get skipped over so many times even with video games. I'm tired.

Hope you're joking but, you okay? You can't do that! GAF needs you!

I don't want to go back to just 1 character again. Give us another 3 characters, but one of them should definitely be female this time.

It also might be time to go overseas. Other than Baltimore/DC area, there's really not much more that can be done in the US for now.

- 1 Main Character
- Darker story, V never felt like anything mattered or was at risk. Go back to believable crime scenarios (IV).
- No female protagonist.
- Consequential choices

Hmm no, this is not how you write a coherent story and the amount of recording (not only audio but mo-cap too) doesn't allow you to do that. You don't play the Sims.

They need to keep the 3 protagonists idea but with 1, 2 or 3 women. In Vice City + COUNTRYSIDE.

This. But Rockstar would never include 3 female protags. I'd be happy with one, though, to be honest. A tough, take-no-shit, kinda gal. Like a female Trevor...but not a psychopath...and not a hobo.
