I would say this is alittle bit of a overreaction after one game.

1st round pick, and young guy who only played two years of college football. He'll get more then 3 games at the end of season to prove himself. But I do expect the performance to be better. The play calling didn't help last Sunday. Run, run, 3rd and long for the rookie. Didn't approve of the use of the read option plays. And the bootlegs/rollouts should of been used more. I barely want to see any read option plays this week. Ppl might not want to believe it, but he's a hard worker and cares about football, I expect better all around.

Cutler had those garbage time scores and if you actually look at his numbers for the season they're oddly in line with his career averages.

Brown's QB looked lost out there and doesn't have an NFL caliber arm. None of his weak college shit was working.

I'm sure this week the game plan will be better suited and hopefully he really worked his ass off but saying that his career is on the line isn't even that hyperbolic in the fact that it'll determine whether or not he is a viable starter this year or a career bench warmer.
