It most likely is, going by older, but recent PS3 Hori sticks.
Welp, if this comes to Amazon US, it will be the one I'll be getting, although I'll have to buy some black Sanwa buttons to swap out.

I'd think it's here to stay since PS4 controllers work on PS3 already. Don't know what the switch does, but the only functionality that doesn't work on the DS4 on PS3 is the home button.

That's where I thought it was (although it doesn't look as deep as PS4 - more rectangular) but I'm having a hard time spotting it as well!

Sweet, looks like I was right to return my HRAP V4.
Do we know if that's likely? I also want a GG stick, but might decide to settle for the new HRAP if they won't come back in stock... Something bugs me about the blue sides on the other versions of the TE2, so I really want the all black GG version.
Probably on the front panel like the DOA5LR stick.

Who knows - but Markman said he was going to look into more being made. Seems like a no brainier to me, but I'm no expert. i generally hold MC a notch above Hori when it comes to stick... with the exception of my Hori RAP Viewlix stick for the X360. That shit is God tier.

Mad Catz and Hori have their own arcade sticks. The TE2 from Mad Catz has the great design and accessibility while the Hori Real Arcade Pro V4 Hayabusa is cost efficient.
I am sad that did this didn't come either. It shows a JLF but it was intended to have an LS-32.
Yeah I was looking at Mad Catz sticks and it looks like I missed out on a lot of game specific ones
the Xrd stick looks slickMy USF4 TE2 arrived today, beautiful stick. There was some residue underneath the plexi but it was easy to remove and wipe clean. One small complaint I have is that on the sides where it closes down, it's around 1-2mm sticking out to a point where I can easily push down on it where it produces a creaking sound. Any way to make it completely flush with the blue ends, or is that simply a drawback of having the stick open up?

Can anyone please give a pros/cons for this stick vs a TE2?
Been using a SFIV TE stick for several years now and would prefer a TE2, but those don't seem to be heading to UK at all and I really want a stick ready on the day USFIV releases on PS4.
Pre-ordered it anyway for now incase ends up the only option.

That is exactly my problem with that one. If they release a TE2 that is not licensed (just regular Mad Catz), I hope it's all black. Changing the art on the stick is very easy. That or a restock of GG would do!

Is the honeycomb pattern supposed to be evocative of DoDonPachi? That's neat!
The TE2 is designed for super-easy modding, but if you're used to the TE stick and buttons (Sanwa), you may not have the need to change anything.
As far as i know, you can mod the Hori sticks, but it actually voids the warranty. It may be a concern because the Kuro buttons that come with the recent Horis are not well-regarded. I know I would be swapping them out immediately.

They should. Don't know about the RAP4, but every other Hori I own makes it relatively easy to swap the buttons.

I probably wouldn't mod anything as long as got a decent stick that works fine, I'm not into modding or building a collection or sticks, I'll just get one now for USFIV and a second for my partner when SFV releases (got multiple sticks for PS3 if we wanna battle eachother).
The only thing I did with my TE is swap the gate. Oh wait, the HRAP probably uses a square gate? Guess that is an issue because used to using octo. Would I need void warranty to put a new gate in? Is there a gate for the Hayabusa stick?
What is wrong with Kuro buttons? This review paints them favourably.
Kuros are YMMV. I hate them. They stick, they squeak, and it's actually gotten worse the more I've played on them.

Madcatz customer service doesn't know what they're talking about. I called them several times about the SF4 TE2, and their answers were always wrong. I'm waiting for Markman to clear this up. The way he said it, it sounded like the stock was in hand and ready to ship.

If you are talking about the PS3 one then its awesome. Im actually selling it because I bought the ps4 hori stick but it was definitely my favorite stick.

I'm sure whomever you spoke with was confused. They're thinking about the P4U2 stick which we have yet to receive. I can confirm we already had the GGXrd ones come in at the time the orders went live last week.
I just got back from CES. Let me find out what's going on and I'll clear things up. Sometimes our system doesn't update the order status right away so apologies for any misinformation this may bring forth.
Thanks MarkMan, I know for a fact I ordered the GG and not the P4U2 so I'm not sure where the guy came off telling me it was a preorder.

You can call and ask. I'm not there at the warehouse so I can't say for sure, but they can definitely look up orders.

The expected release for the Kai sticks is in March? I'd bite but I'm sure MCZ will have some sort of stock in before then. I just need a damn stick I've been wanting to play GG for a month now and the controller just doesn't cut it for me.
Yeah, being told they're preorders. Said only the first round have shipped. The second round were just preorders for the next shipment. Dude on the phone said that he can't find the item on the website to even see where the date is.
Asked for a manager, got put on hold, comes back tells me the same thing. Can't tell me when the sticks will ship.
This is super frustrating. If what you're telling us is true, then our customer service department is very ill-informed and it is not helpful at all. If it has shipped, I need my tracking number to have my stick held at the FedEx location instead of going out for delivery.
Argh.

March 13th (I think). Amazon take your card number for preorders, but I don't think they charge to it until it's on it's way due to price variations etc. in the meantime. You could get your preorder in and cancel it if you see something better before release.
Just got this bullshit also. He is telling us "There is confusion about what the guy on Neo-Gaf is telling you, this is an actual preorder because the first round was sent out and yours will ship out later. Whoever ordered last week is definitely part of the second run".
MarkMan he said you don't know how the distribution center works. I just referred to you as a representative on social media giving us this info. That was word for word.
I'm looking around for any possible sticks on PS4 as well, mainland Europe here, and it seems like we don't really have many options, besides importing and paying pretty high fees. I like my TE (original SFIV edition) and would gladly get another one for my PS4 in the future, but it doesn't seem like they will really get here.
How's the situation on the drivers enabling PS3 stick compatibility going? Haven't herad of that in a long while, I think since ArcSys commented on being aware of it back in November (?).

Clearly there is confusion / misinformation. There is no preorder for GGXrd sticks. The 100 units we put up last week were ordered/shipped. If you never got an email confirmation for an order or have an order number, then the order didn't go through. Simple as that.
You might have had a hold/authorization on your card when it tried to go through, but whether or not that has been fulfilled is another story. I just got off the phone with the head of customer service at our warehouse and if there are any questions, feel free to contact them again.

I don't feel like contacting customer service accomplishes anything. I have a charge on my card, I received a confirmation email at 1:00 that my order was received, which is before it sold out (since it took 15 minutes).
I called WITH my order number, and customer service told me it was just a preorder. I don't know what more other information I could provide to get this cleared up.
