Do karma event and truck hijackings only occur in unliberated zones?

Karma events can happen anywhere, but it does seem like the likelihood of them is higher in an enemy-controlled area. I think the convoys and cargo trucks only drive through enemy-controlled areas.

Also, is there a reward difference between taking a truck to an outpost and simply blowing it up?

There's an achievement, and I think the XP reward is higher, but it didn't seem like a big deal. As soon as I got the achievement, I just started blowing them up.

Started playing the game on Friday. Got my first choice mission on whether to do what Pagan or Amita wants. I wanted to do what Pagan wanted to do because it seemed like "the good guy thing to do" but for some reason chose to go with Amita because the intel could be worth it, though I would have appreciated if she said what the intel was. Even she didn't seem to know what it was, just that it was worth it.

Met up with Pagan after choosing Amita, and man was he pissed.

So, I just finished the main story and I can't save anymore (the Save and Save & Quit options are gone from my menu). I'm only missing two trophies (the one you get for executing a takedown in co-op or something and the one you get after acquiring all the skills), so I kinda want to go for the Plat, but this bug prevents me from doing so since I'm 23 skill points away from one of the trophies I'm missing. Everything went to hell after I reset all outposts so I could get more exp...

Edit: I'm on PS4, bte. Is there anything I could do? I already erased the game data but it stays the same. If I play wothout the latest update on, my save acts funny and tells me I have no skills available.

The PS4 version looks and performs beautifully.

It's one of the smoothest experiences I have seen. Locked solid 30fps.

The DLC concept looks interesting. A bunch of missions that give you rewards and extra time, but a clock that never stops counting down, and semi-permadeath. I'll fire it up tonight.

Not sure how helpful it is, but I tried FC3 for like 2 hours and fucking despised it. Hated the premise, the character you played, the setting, and some of the mechanics (mainly the ridiculous enemy sight lines bothered me A LOT, they seemed to have reduced it in FC4)

All that being said, I was hesitant on FC4, but after watching a bunch of videos of it being played, bought it and absolutely love it.

From people who have played both to death, FC4 is just FC 3.5, so you theoretically should like FC3, but just understand it goes backwards in some areas...and you and your friends are douchebags.

It's worth it especially at that price. However, are you able to put up with a frame rate that peaks at 25, constant drops, and screen tearing? If not, skip the PS3 version. If that doesn't bother you than get ready to enjoy one of the best games of 2012

Didn't have a problem getting it. Are you playing on XB1 or PS4?

If Xbox, are you in the preview program? I've had a couple cheevos not pop today (Dragon Age and Lego Marvel), and I assumed it had something to do with the Achievements update.

Edit: Xbox Live status update indicates this is a problem for everyone, not just preview members.

It's a really stupid achievement. It's not just that you have to distract them. You have to distract them and then wait until they go back to their standard patrol. This is not explained anywhere except on the web where people figured it out. You can literally keep distracting the same guy over and over to get it as long as you let him go back on patrol first. Why they did it that way I have no idea.

You can hear someone in the background yelling something about an elephant. Then during the liberation cutscene, the elephant is seen freely walking around the outpost.

My guess? The elephant killed every soldier.

Same thing happened to me once. I walked to the top of a cliff near an outpost to scope it out with the camera when the first time I looked through the camera I just saw an elephant running through it and killing everybody. I got the cutscene before I even had a chance to fire a shot.

Question for those since I know about the surprise early ending possible in the game.

When the game's prologue first starts with you actually being able to take on enemies for the first time, what happens if you simply walk out in front of them? At that point all they know is that you were taken by the Golden Path and Pagan Min wants to get you back. Do they shoot you if you pop out in front of them? Does the game simply restart you if you don't do the first take down? Didn't get to check the first time I started the game.

Last time I played there was a "?" that couldn't be activated and found no matter what up in the north for me. Going to try again next time I play and hope that a reload fixes it. Game does seem a little glitchy at times on discovering undiscovered locations.

Yep. After awhile I gave up on disabling it because it always comes back when you boot the game.

Yea. The frame rate is atrocious at times on the X1. It really made me want to experience the game on the PS4 or PC where the framerate would be improved. That being said, the X1 resume functionality makes the game even more addictive when I play it in offline mode.
