I wouldn't mind waiting if they'll integrate Japanese Voice acting. The English dub didn't sound good at all.
I think what they will end up doing is offering it as a DLC like Lightning Returns and Drakengard 3 did due to disc space issues.

I wouldn't mind that. I don't know how it was with Lightning Returns, but with Drakengard 3 we had to download 10 GB. Not sure how much space FFXV VO will take.
It was similar and ultimately it will depend on how much pre-rendered video there is.
No idea about Drakengard but LR was also massive, because the CGI cutscenes are specifically lipsync'd to JP or EN voiceovers.
I'd expect FFXV to be the same, even with the 'we want as much to be ingame realtime as possible' statement.

) on that billboard, I'm actually a little disappointed that they won't be making their own alphabet for us language fanatics to decipher. I can't disagree with them, because this world is specifically designed to be grounded in our real one. Maybe we will see some radically different cultures in the areas that haven't been revealed yet.

Why? Infamous looked better, with better lighting & better particle effects as well as a more populated world, & it was still 1080p ~45fps.

What would be wrong with that? Type-0 has them.
Tabata said there are no l'Cie in this game (sadly), but supposedly fal'cie and Etro are in it.
Besides Nocto seems to have abilities others don't have like l'Cie. Maybe he(and StellaLuna) is one in a way, just not refereed as such.
Infamous had baked lighting, and lighting was missing in some parts in the game completely.
FFXV has a Day/Night cycle built in and I think a lot of people would say that the lighting is the best thing visually about the game so far.
We'll have to wait a year before making a proper judgement about FFXV. I still think the game will come out mid- to late-2016.

XV still looks sub-native or they're using a form of AA that doesn't work too well on certain things. It might be less noticeable in motion though!

Also just noticed Type 0 really has an all star cast of voice actors. SE went big on this game

Probably not the right place to ask but is there a specific edition called the 'day one' edition for Type-0(some games specifically had that title) or is it just the first print of the game? Not sure what to pick up as I really would love to procure that FF XV DL code...would probably just be best to get Col ed(so expensive though -_-')

IQ actually looks pretty good there, sub-HD or not, honestly I can't really tell based on these screens.
Didn't FFXIII on PC (back when it was still 720p) looked pretty good even on Full-HD monitors? I remember someone saying it looked better than most games at that resolution.
Anyway, SE is still very impressive tech-wise (too bad they didn't push the PS3 as much as they pushed the PSP, that would've been amazing to see).
