Any posts that mentions status like "junior" for example in an attempt to dismiss or shame someone elses post gets no respect from me. It doesn't matter what the words are under your name, what matters is what's being written & posted.

I've never seen anyone say that and not be messing around. But if someone did, I'd think they had nothing to say.

Right on, son.

SJW
Political correctness
pandering

Any combination of those being used seriously and I know for certain the person has nothing of value to say.

Came here to post this.

Also 'lefties' and 'feminazis', especially (not on gaf but things like fb) in response to articles totally unrelated to anything feminist, left wing or at all political.

This is the only legit one here.

I used to know someone who used to hate putting full stops at the end of the sentence. I don't even know, guess that's why we're not friends anymore.

Ugh. Gross.

I know someone who always leaves a space between the end of the last word and the punctuation, like this . WHY ?

SJW, PC Warrior etc.

One that's sometimes, sometimes suitable in particular threads is "fedora", but it's used far too much by people who either barely have an argument, or weren't really interested in conversing sensibly in the first place. It's basically become a lazy variant of Godwin's Law in any thread about religion.

Any hugely generalizing term applied as an inherent pejorative (such as Republicans).

Any response that instead of arguing with substance just says "no", laughs at the person, or is a response GIF.

any variation of "but we don't need to have this progressive stuff in every medium stop trying to force it in here"

In french you put a space before "?" and "!", probably ";" too but I think that's the same everywhere.

No space before a "." though.

PC police/SJW's/etc used unironically. Stop there, you have nothing important to say. 💩

Thisssss.

You'll generally see the same people who in multiple threads have borderline bigoted opinions saying PC and SJW to defend shitty behaviour.

Misogyny and it's variations have become a big one lately because most people using it that I can encounter apparently don't know what the word means. It's become the go-to word to dismiss and attack.

Also not very fond of victim blaming, or rather, it's misuse.

I suppose it's not the words so much as their inaccurate usage that annoy me.

eh, ive used welp for awhile now in replies to something to which i dont have much to say.

i dont think ive heard it much in daily conversation. on gaf its not that common from what ive seen.

Any opinion post about a movie that has the word "pacing" somewhere in it, especially in the first or second sentence, gets skipped over because the kind of poster who uses that buzzword never has any idea what they're talking about.

"You're wrong"
"In my opinion"
"Fair enough, but"
"Objectively"

If you get all four in one go I might even give you the sarcastic response you deserve!

I think I have matured enough to not dismiss an entire post because of a single word or expression or get upset about the use of grammar, language or whatever.
