It's obvious they're trying to prevent piracy by...making them wait two weeks I guess? If they weren't going to buy the game on PC, they are not going to buy a console + game just for it. The MGS fans and people interested in the product were already going to buy it day one, so I really don't see who Konami is trying to sweep with this move.

Maybe it was a deal with Sony and MS to maximize console profits?

That at least seems more believable than piracy, maybe not an actual deal but just to maximize sales on the consoles in general. People who pirate games may have not even bought the games they pirate in the first place.

I'll be getting the game on PS4 because advanced LoD isnt worth a 2 week wait for me, not to mention I havent bought a PS4 game in quite some time... driveclub i think was the last.

But after seeing ground zeroes with everything maxed on PC the pop in thats present on the PS4 version became a hell of a lot more noticeable

MGS games have a lot of dialogue and a lot of twists/turns in the story/plot. So you can't really spoil the game in a few sentences. There are gonna be a lot of new characters we haven't heard of yet who will be big part of the story as well.

Only thing to watch out for is whether or not someone dies. In this case I expect everyone except BB to die anyways considering the type of game it is. And I'm fully expecting David Hayter to be in the game so I wouldn't be spoilered at all if I find out he is in those 2 weeks

See....this and looking at the PC shots of GTA 5....I'm seriously thinking about getting an up to date PC.

I had no idea how nice next gen looked until I got a PS4. Still in the early stages of Ground Zeros and I just keep being amazed at some lil details I notice.

This gen is going to have me taking even longer to finish games if I keep stopping to enjoy the scenery.

honestly i'm gonna go out on a limb and say hopefully the wording of the press release was kinda borked and only details a digital CE. at least give us the option to get a tiered version for £10-15 less. not even COD launches this expensive on PC.

Was ground zeroes optimized well for the pc? If so I can wait 2 weeks instead of the Xbox version.

Looked better than the console version and ran well, IIRC. Many mroe dynamic lights, way better LOD, better shadows and reflections.

$60 is pretty steep though. Will wait for GMG pre-order discount. $50 sounds fair.

Fuck, its gonna be hard to not get it on ps4 since i know all my friends will be telling me how awesome it is but I didn't get a 980 to let it sit idle while i play multiplats on my ps4.

Game runs at a mix of medium-high settings for me, 1080p, 60FPS constant on a GTX 570. You don't need a GTX 980 to play this game.
