Day one was fun. I'm definitely going back tomorrow. I might have brushed past a couple gaffers lol but everything was cool. I didn't get to play everything but tomorrow coming back, I certainly will.

I lost $50 too which really really sucked. Super embarrassing all together. My friend and his team lost the evolve tournament.. Came in 2nd place but they still slayed!

The devs for Axiom Verge are awesome and I had a nice little chat with them.

The devs at Tumblestone was cool too! Shout out to them.

The Wii U 9 multiplayer game with the colors.. I totally forgot the name but Green won the whole match. That game is impressive and super fun.

Axiom verge was fuckin incredible. Also they were giving out 5$ psn credit just for playing. Girlfriend and I got 10$ and its 10% off wth plus. The game was amazing.

There was another really fun one coming this summer to ps4 where it's 4 player multi and you race to get a goat on ur head to score. Very fun. I wanted to at Titan souls but the dev wasn't moving anyone that was losing stood behind two people for 30 mins and said f it. White night dev super thankful for buying the game before pax and was amazingly nice.

Absolutely play axiom verge. It's the meteoid we want, it's what I'm drawing a blank on the name, the 360 unreal game was emulating except this is legit. Day one purchase absolutely.

I have a shit ton of pics from day one of cosplayers, booths and games. Bad thing is the hotel's internet is crap. I got interviews with Alex Jebailey (Iron Galaxy), FireHose Games (20xx) , crew from Viking Squad and a few others and they still aren't uploaded.

Update: Finally was able to get some images uploaded. They aren't organized, I'll do that when I get back home from Boston. Until then you can check them out here.

i felt like shit all day haha, smh wasn't in the best shape

i played xenoblade chronicles 3DS, holy shit 0_o it basically looks like a ps1/N64 game, or early 3D DS game, it has no slowdown or hiccups but it ugly, with a ug

i kept seeing "line is full come back later" for splatoon so i will try tomorrow

first thing im doing when i get there at like 10:30/11 am is go wait in line for the final fantasy panel, i hope i can get a seat, road trip time B^)



should call it PC east :p , it sucks cause i don't have a gaming pc or know how to play on a keyboard :( i dont want to look like a dummy playing haha

Today was not my best day. Felt tired and dazed all day and the constant waiting in line really hurt my patience today.

Especially the OR booth line, holy crap that line moves slower than a turtle. And when that line finally moves, I only move up a feet and some odd inches.

Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow. Just wasn't in the best mood. Probably due to freezing in the cold early in the morning.

kinda random but does anyone know how much it is to have a booth? like a small one, i saw one that was tiny as hell and it was a retro game store in Boston

if its like $500 for a small booth then im a dummy, i have so much stuff i can sell , not trying to gloat but i had a ton more stuff then the retro game booth stores i saw today

this is plenty of space too :p

Lol If it's a place called Replayd that's the store I used to run until my business partner and I had a falling out. If you ever were at PAX in 2013 or 2012 I was the guy with weird hair front and center.

As it is now with what happened, I can't say I recommend shopping there he'll try price gouging, something we always disagreed on.

Also, depending on size it generally floats around 1500 to 3000 least the years I did it.

Did you pre register for the OR demo or just walk up and wait in line? I've got a reservation for Sunday through the app but won't bother if I have to wait 4 hours to give it a shot.

Didn't see this post until now. I'm walking back to my hotel. Stayed afterwards talking to Vinny about NYC for a while and shouted Air Force Gator at Dan Ryckert as he was leaving the con with his crew. The panel was fantastic as always. Would go into a more detailed post but I'll leave it at that. Saw a GAF member there who mostly lurks.

Great Day 1! After the hall closed the customary day 1 drink mixer started and companies kept their booths open so us exhibitors that don't get to play anything during the show can walk right up and try stuff out.

Since Blizzard put up a new map for Overwatch and wanted to test it, me and the rest of the Playism team got to play a few sets with other exhibitors on a couple of the available maps.

I'm a believer. Overwatch is hella fun (and gorgeous!). So glad I got a chance to play a bunch of the characters. At this point, I'm sold on Zarya as a main, but liked other characters quite a bit too.

They had chrono trigger for $110 CiB, that was actually a decent price tbh at replayed but that booth was tiny like really small , kinda crazy price
Yeah the retro market is just going up and up and up , its a bummer



I think I'll make it there at around 10:30 am, I wonder if that'll be enough time to get in line for the final fantasy key note thing , it starts at 12 pm

p.s. there's 2 final fantasy things - XIV at 12, and a XV panel at 3

Typically the queue for panels start for an upcoming panel when the current one is in progress (since that same space would be occupied by the prior queue, prior to that)

First day was great. I enjoy the layout and the massive amount of Indies. Iron galaxy and the warhammer arena were fun to try and talkative staff.

Tennolive knew how to host a event, a lot of reveals and then free drink and food at lucky.

I'm jealous right now sitting at work and watching ppl at the Omni Parker House get into the shuttle bus to Pax lol. Next year I have to get a 3 day pass.

Had fun yesterday at the convention. I really wanted to try Smite, but the line for the Xbox One version was moving too slow. I wanted to try Overwatch as well, but every time I checked, the line was capped. I spent most of my time playing the indie games.

I think my favorite part of the day was being able to meet up with a friend who I used to play WoW with. First time talking to each other in person. It was pretty cool to catch up after not talking much over the last few years since we stopped playing.

Yesterday my cousins my bro and I arrived at 10:40 and just walked right in , those "cattle lines" aren't worth it tbh

Every line is full when you get in haha .

I'm arriving early , shit , I'm going to the killer instinct panel to see the new character :eek: plus get a pin , pin addiction got me

You are probably talking about Runbow, the one that uses the Gamepad for the Dungeon Master type of assymetric gameplay. It's getting nice reception everywhere.

Kind of sad that people realise this only under the right circunstances, but for local asymmetrical multiplayer the Gamepad has a lot to offer.

Do you tried Splatoon? Is this the same E3 demo they always show around?

ANy cool indi games on display? Like ecnomical Space Adventures. XD

im also catching up to your previous posts in this thread Act. Can you answer some of these questions:

Are they still using the gyro assisted control scheme for aiming in Splatoon? And did you managed to hear people giving impressions about this?

Since the Splatoon lines are so big. What type of gamer is been atracted to it? The traditional Nintendo fan or do you think the appeal of the game is reaching other less traditional demographics for the company?

At BCEC. Voice is spent a bit from projecting last night. Gonna go roam the Expo Floor after charging my phone/3DS. Probably just the morning grumps since I haven't used my regular speaking voice yet.

Gonna try to make it to Whiskey Priest tonight if I'm not being asked to hang out with a bunch of peeps as is so often the case. Today is gonna be fun for sure.
