My god I'm not even a vegeta fan but what kind of bs is that? Why can't they just let someone else kill the baddie? It doesn't always have to be goku, that's boring and predictable. Poor vegeta got robbed :(
Repeated mistakes of the past have been made.

One thing I loved about BoG was that Goku lost. They could've continued that streak of surprises by having Vegeta defeat Frieza. Why doesn't Whis just rewind time, go to Vegeta and say "Hey he's going to destroy the Earth in 3 minutes, you have to kill him NOW." Fuck.

Only redeeming part for me right now is Vegeta actually winning against Frieza. As long as they make that fight great, I'll take the *Goku warps in at the last second to save everyone* cliche more easily.

Goku wins with a cheap shot, that's kinda new.

I'll be fine with this if we see Vegeta pushing back whatever ball/blast Frieza shoots at Earth until the very end.

If he goes out like Bardock I'm going to be pissed.

Before Goku kills Frieza, they just have to establish the point that Frieza end up killing Vegeta. Wow.

If Vegeta was beating on Freeza then how the hell does he blow up Earth? Vegeta should have been able to deflect the energy attack or some shit.

Why couldn't they have Frieza blowing up Earth, Vegeta killing him in pure fury, then Goku having to go back in time to save Earth?

That way you can have your cake and eat it too.

It sounds like getting beaten by Vegeta is exactly why Freeza blew up the Earth. Sore loser.

So we're getting a sequel? Awesome. Why not.

Fuck it, have a rainbow haired Vegetto and have the main enemy be Chilled and bring Bardock back alongside Super Saiyan 4 Broly from the GT dimension or some shit and then Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta can follow him through.

Why not.

Why the fuck not.

So salty about Vegeta being robbed, it hurts

"I'm doing it! I'm doing it!. All right, Vegeta ol' boy, keep your cool. Just finish him quick and easy, don't do something stupid like letting him power up and this one is IN. THE. BA-

I'm really not sure what Vegeta fans were expecting. I mean, the dude is the biggest jobber in the history of jobbers. His only role in the entire series is to show just how fucking powerful Goku is.

But Gohan. Gohan is different. Right from the start, he was supposed to be *the* savior of the universe because of his massive mixed blood potential. He was relevant even in the Buu saga when he kicked the shit out of Super Buu. The way the Buu saga ended was dumb as shit. If Gohan was there, the fight would have been over in seconds and no spirit bomb and Vegeta-sacrificing-himself-AGAIN shenanigans would have been necessary.

They need to restore Gohan to his rightful place in the series, FFS.

So how about we speculate why Freeza getting killed was all according to Sorbet's plan? Is Sorbet not who he says he is and this whole thing was just a front for something else? I think that is the most interesting thing that is left unanswered.
For some reason, Saiyans can't breathe in space.
Nevermind the fact that Goku traveled to the moon.

He also fought Beerus in space.

Check this thread out, Goku fanboys trying to deflect the fact that Goku stole the kill like a lil' bitch while Vegeta took care of the business. Goku didn't even have the decency to allow Vegeta to finish what he started when he went back in time, had to be the glory hunter as always. Goku, attention whore since 1980 something.

Toriyama needs to write the story and have someone proof read it, being serious here if he wants to avoid the many plot holes he has opened up. From the sounds of it, Freiza seems to be more of a training exercise for Vegeta and Goku more than an actual battle. Whis has an insane power level, was his not double that of SS God Goku? Whis could take out anyone but he's just this guy floating around, eating cakes because if he fought someone the movies would probably end in 2 minutes. Why bring in such a powerful character for the lulz? Does not make sense.

Does Freeza actually survive the explosion of the planet? I don't think that's confirmed yet. It might be a double KO.

To give something for Goku to strive towards? Unlike the original DBZ Sagas, these movies clearly have been made with future plans in mind.

A Frieza reduced to an upper torso + head an arm survived ground zero of Namek blowing up, I don't think he needs to worry about this one.

One of the biggest plot hole in DBZ history. Like why didn't Goku use IT to bring Gohan to the battle? after they used the Dragon Balls.... dumb dumb dumb.

That's assuming that the blast he uses to blow up Earth isn't massively more powerful than the one he used to blow up Namek, which it probably is.

I think Frieza can survive outside space. Don't agree with Whis being something to strive for, he does absolutely nothing so don't know why you think he would matter, unless once Goku and Vegeta are strong enough Whis is going to have a breakdown and try killing everything which would be alright I guess. :p

We are? Man if I didn't hear these lame spoilers I'd be hyped for a third DBZ movie right now.

lol Gohan has only won ONE fight in the entire series. And even then that was because Vegeta and Goku from the afterlife helped him do it. Every other major fight Gohan either gets beat up or sits it out.

Gohan is in his rightful place now. As the benchwarmer.

He doesn't need to be a villain to point out that there are things stronger than them yet and new heights to be reached.

Also the fact that Goku held back so SSJ2 Vegeta could have a go. And then couldn't defeat Buu because he had screwed around in SSJ3 for too long. Not the best of ideas xD

Regardless, Gohan never liked fighting. The two times that he's had the power advantage over the enemy, he got his father killed and allowed his brother to be absorbed. Now he's a family man which is exactly where he should be.

You know, it was a clever plan from Super Buu tho.

He got his brother absorbed because of AT's editor.

The whole Buu saga was set up so Gohan could take over, hell, that was the point of DBZ.

The editor of DBZ said people want Goku to be the protagonist, so Gohan had to lose. How does he lose? His brother gets absorbed, and then he gets absorbed.

Not true, Toriyama's editor during the Buu saga let him do what he wanted, Toriyama said he felt Gohan didn't make a good main hero so he had Goku win.

How people allowed themselves to get excited for this movie is beyond me. The ridiculous notion that Freeza could somehow become more powerful than Buu, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Gotenks and Piccolo speaks of how the movie was going to turn out. I had an uneasy feeling about the movie since the SSGod turned out to be a red headed and red eyed Goku with a leaner body. Oh well

Nope. Toriyama's editor during the Buu saga was the one who had the lightest hand and let Toriyama do basically whatever he wanted.
