Gaijinworks set to tease new PSP localization in Retro magazine

So uh... how long will we be waiting?

I've been checking gaijinwork's forums from time to time, supposedly he's on a hopefully maybe final draft of the contract that just needs another (dozen) review(s).

edit: I see you posted there too. Btw, anyone hear from the Sakura Wars fan translation team lately?

edit edit: And the front page of gaijinworks still has the PS3 Class of Heroes 2 physical pre-order pledge drive going. :/

Just got another email literally this morning about wrapping up the contract (finally), so it looks like we might be nearing the point were we can sign it and finally share what we've been working on! Fingers crossed...

Over a year of teasing for a digital release of Summon Night, this reveal is gonna blooooow, prove me wrong Victor Ireland!!!

I don't understand why similar very small companies like Aksys, Xseed, and NIS manage to release a nice slate of titles while Gaijinworks struggles to announce a PSP title.

:(

Well if it'd be my guess it's because Vic Ireland has never been very timely when it comes to localizations. It always took them what felt like forever to get a game out when they where still Working Designs

Honestly I never really mind the extra time they take since they are directly reasonable for putting out some of the best rpgs of all time in English that we probably never would have gotten otherwise.

I'm guessing CoH 3 or even the mystery PSP game aren't going to get announced until after Vic ships out the physical copies of CoH2G for the PS3.

I heard the contract was pretty much done which just leaves the title to be announced for NA.

And this is a game that was supposed to be announced during 2013 and released late 2013. We're at early 2015 and we don't even know the game. Yes, it's not happening anymore, I don't think it ever was happening in the first place.

vic has been on radio silence for the last couple of months, which he tends to do before a big release...so hopefully soon

or maybe all the konami drama means tengai makyou got cancelled and vic is just hiding????

these days i'm just looking forward to witnessing an attempt to renew UMD production for the long awaited deluxe special edition of summon night 5 everyone's clearly clamoring for

Told you.

True story: I actually first found GAF (pre Neo-) way back in the day because I had registered on the Working Designs forums to complain to Vic about how behind they were on something and someone replied that he wouldn't see it anyway since he spent all his time on GAF now.

Didn't he mention something about contracts being signed and news coming like back in December?

I'd love an update, even if all it is is something like "still on track, please understand."

I'd buy the hell out of a physical PSP game in 2015, you don't even know.
