Big apologies to the Fun Run team for no-showing last night, some family stuff came up and I've been away from my Ps4/this OT until now. Even though Colonel is the only one who posts here anymore, haha. Maybe the others still lurk...
Just got caught up. Many thanks to those offering OT-maker support (Zoba, Deku, Noomi, Rasen, Colonel, Kadey, not Macello, anyone else I forgot right now). Todd's many posts and Kor's single "lose player base" post made it sound like they don't want to do it, and no one else nominated themselves so I'm happy to do it. Hawkian is the man and did such a great job running OTs so long when they moved at blistering speed. But now they move so much slower it probably won't be much work to keep up with making/updating them. Plus I can finally right one of the historic DGAF wrongs, lol.
I've been thinking about the OT title suggestions also. Definitely want it to be a "democratic decision," don't agree with the idea that OT titles should be some random thing the maker decides at the last minute. Speaking of which:
I agree with this. Any variation of "how come(s) no raid" is clever and light hearted while also accurately referencing the biggest recent Destiny news. I guess I don't understand how it'd read so negative as to preclude it from consideration.
Does anybody want to explain more detail I might be missing for the "void burn" one? Besides the obvious "lack of raid hurts" + "void burn" modifer? Kinda confused since raids don't have burns but I guess that's part of the point? Feels less snappy while also slightly harsher than HoW come(s).
Also the Prison of Elders one was too subtle for me, I missed the point completely. Please explain it to me like I'm a 5th grader.
I also feel like the |OT$20| is funny but probably too snarky for the thread title, plus it also breaks up the numbering convention which I don't think has been done yet. Maybe it's just me being a little OCD but I'm not crazy about that.
Raids were so last DLCeason is also funny but not as catchy as how comes. Brevity is the soul of wit blah blah etc.

I don't know what else to clarify other than the subtlety was in the punctuation. Sure, there are no Burns in Raids, but I guess that makes it a little ironic too.
