Anyone know when the MVG Sandstorm tournament is gonna start for real? Like, in how many hours? I hate being in Europe watching American stuff, I'll never wrap my mind around your guys' timezones and stuff.

Also, to everyone I've played with on GAF since I joined, thanks for playing! I've improved my game a lot. Wish we had a local scene that was easy to get into here in Norway.

P.S. if anyone in this thread resides in Scandinavia, add me if you want to play! Might be easier with times and laggyness and so on.

Not really, just using him a lot right now cause he's fun to use and new lol.

I understand what you mean about mirror matches. The only one I like is Marth mirrors. If you would like, I can use a different character so you can play as Mewtwo. Though I may switch after 5 games or so, but if you don't want me switching, then it's fine, I won't switch.

Yeah it'll take some time to adjust and you'll die a lot as your old reflexes don't work. I made the switch late last year from tap jump to jump on R trigger. Sometimes I regret that I didn't train to jump on a face button like y or x, but that's mostly because my right pointer finger is already a little strained from being used as mouse button clicker, so sometimes my finger gets a bit tired. But putting jump on a trigger has the advantage of leaving my thumb free to do whatever as I jump - makes jump canceled out of shield attacks really easy. Anyway, making the switch to buttons is well worth it, keep it up! And expect to die a lot in the meantime.

I was thinking about this last night. Maybe short hop nair is the answer when people cross up Mewtwo rather than throw out attacks in the wrong direction...
